Nice!  Yeah, I have the 6 bolt rims for the front.  What adapter did you use?

Custom and Comerical they seem to be available on a random basis.

    • Interesting, Ctfriffi.  Will be looking forward to seeing how the stock brakes do. We live in a mountainous area and tow a heavy boat, so are used to taking it easy on brakes in the passes.

So, back on track with the project.  For Father's Day, I requested a dawn to dusk day working on the Sunrader. Had to first take an entire tree to the dump at 8 am, then we had pickleball, so technically I got going at noon.  Put the overhead storage cabinet up over where the sink/stove/counter will go. Mine is MUCH smaller than the factory unit was - some 4-6 inches less in height and depth.  The factory one protruded too much into the hallway, plus it went down so low it blocked that great window behind the counter. I brought some sample cups, glasses and plates out when I mocked it up with cardboard to ensure normal full size stuff still fits.  I also changed it from 3 side opening doors to two large flip up doors that have self-holding hinges.  I don't know why you see YouTube people in 2026 still messing with gas struts and the complexity and loss of opening size when these hinges have been around for a few years. They use a simple and durable overcenter spring geometry to hold the door both open fully, AND closed. I'm installing latches for security as we'll be on rough roads.

Its pre-wired for the 6 down lights I'll mount on the underside, and has wires for 120v AC as well. I've drilled the holes for the lights but will wait till it's painted to mount them. One thing they'll have is a quality mechanical rotary dimmer switch. I intensely dislike these newfangled "push and hold to your dim level" things.  So this is a swift turn, fine tune and done. And it probably won't break after 3 years like the touch pads.  Not planning to re-install the vent over the stove as we don't cook meat and with a powered vent, we can push heat/steam out that window if we need to.  I notice other builders also skipping vents over cooktops.

Here's a picture of the overhead storage.  It is screwed into an aluminum L bracket that is in turn screwed directly into 5 aluminum roof beams. You could literally do chin ups on this, so it shouldn't start pulling the ceiling down like the stock cabinets, which were shockingly just screwed into the foam/wood roof paneling. It is glued and screwed together and when cured, I will take it down and sand the end panels to size (slightly oversize to deal with the variances in front and rear sizing).  Then it will be painted, the flipper doors and T molding installed, and set aside while I start on the kitchen unit.  Looking forward to that, as I got a high end black slate sink that will be undermounted, and the high end GE stove/oven arrived a few days ago.  Going with butcher block counter top as I'm worried any of the various "hard" materials like quartz and such will crack eventually.
