I don't know how much aggravation you will put up with to fix your problem, but this vent cover has 2 locking arms that will flip down and lock the cover when traveling.

Cabinet door catch...https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/search?pageSize=24&startIndex=24&query=cabinet+door+catch

Thanks. The noisy stove vent seems to be a common problem with RV's. I'm going to look into dampening the sound unless I can find a direct replacement.

The link to the Cabinet Door Catch does not appear to have an exact replacement. I will just need to do some measurements and see one like in the picture that i posted will work.

I am not the most handy person but my Sunrader is the perfect opportunity for me to learn which is equal parts fun & stressful :)

Maybe a small piece of foam stick on weather strip at each corner of the flap, if you can get to it.

Best way to replace them is to take an existing one to a hardware store and find a match. You're lucky both my Sunraders have these huge holes in the doors for this latch

JR Products Shur-latch | Omni Outdoor Living

Expensive to replace. I did a work around and now all my doors close with heavy duty magnet latches.

Stuff in cabinets also goes into baskets so nothing heavy pushes on the doors.

Not needed now, but somebody is always asking. No idea it it fits.

I will consider just doing something like this. It seems that people have also had success with using a couple of magnets that will still release the vent once turned on.

You must have read my mind haha! It appears that there is a replacement that should fit but the link on the forum post no longer shows the lock.

I'm not sure but is this the lock that was being referred to? https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/maintenance-hardware/rv-locks-handles-storage-hardware/door-knobs-locks/door-locks/lock-rv-motor-home-entrance_31-8078

The only other major upgrade that I'm looking to do is change the Tail Lights because the current ones are really dim. Unfortunately the prefabricated backing plates for new Tail Lights are no longer available and I don't have the skillset to do that myself. If anyone can recommend a company that can do that I would appreciate it.

The lenses and frames are good shape so I have considered doing that. Unfortunately it appears that most LED's do not fit or are not long enough to make the proper connection.

-I have seen this as a solution. Is this some sort of conductive adhesive? Maybe something like this or replacing the sockets for LED ones will work?

I have also read that these tail lights might be a viable option in regards to fit but have not seen reports of them being used successfully.

Thank you. I purchased these exact same bulbs but they do not appear to fit and I'll need to do some troubleshooting to find a solution.

Shoot that's glue holding the bulb in a junk socket!

My sockets don't seem much better. After considering the potential cost and work of replacing the sockets, I thought that just buying new lights would be a better option. If I can find a company that will 3d print backing plates for new tail lights, I may still go with that option.

Really $$$$$ but might be a plug-n-play.

I use these on my rig. Very bright but might not fit your rough opening. These are surface mount.

Thanks but they won't fit without modifications. I think that I am just going to with LED bulbs and see if that helps. They even make LED bulbs with built in resistors for the turn signals now.
