  4. so meter leads on each side of relay. when cranking, voltage should be less than .2v. more means bad relay. ground side. meter leads on starter case and neg terminal of battery. same readings as before, but higher reading indicates resistance in the ground circuit. usually the neg cable or bad connection to engine block
  5. always use the maintainer. these things are not meant to go from dead to full charge

  8. not likely they would do a good job anyhow. their people come and go alot
  9. if you are wondering about voltage drop in a wire, connect your voltmeter to opposite ends of the wire in question. when current flows(something turned on), the meter will read the voltage dropped in the wire directly. if it shows none, go to a lower setting. (autoranging meters excepted)
  10. my fuse box is behind a regular cabinet door next to the bathroom

  18. brake lines require double flairs. if you haven't done them, practice a bit before attempting the line you'll use
  19. also battery voltage under no load is of no use. what is the voltage when attempting to crank the engine
  20. is the voltage reading with nothing turned on, or is it when attempting to start. voltmeter on the battery, turn key to start. what does the meter say. 9.6 volts or lower means charge and retest. if voltage is still under 9.6 , battery is bad
  21. i have the origional from my 84 dolphin . it's am fm cassette. you are welcome to it if you pay shipping. it will just plug in to the existing wiring
