linda s Posted June 18, 2023 Share Posted June 18, 2023 Just cut the weld off. You want to end up with the same length to that turn in the pipe. Motorhome exhaust pipes were often custom made to fit the required space and to stay away from holding tanks. There are lots of extensions you can use to make it match. WME Posted June 21, 2023 Share Posted June 21, 2023 I use a muffler that was for a Ford F250 pickup with a 460 cid and a single exhaust. On my little 4 banger no major back pressure and no noise. The thing I’m confused about is the inlet size of the muffler which has 2.625 inch inside diameter. Would the 2.5 inch clamp be too small? WME Posted June 29, 2023 Share Posted June 29, 2023 Yes 2" ID, not to sure about the clamps you posted. I went to a muffler shop. They have both stretcher and shrinker hydraulic powered.
