Thanks Linda, yes my t3 airbags are old and need replacing. Though I can get them up to 90 PSI but that puts some sway into the it when an 18 wheeler passes by, make me super nervous, 50 PSI though seems just fine. Springs are semi-flat if you ask me. That said I talked with Les Schwab awhile back for repacking my rear bearing and seals. My tires are also due for replacement and those Hanooks were the best but 8 years is the time. The shocks are 8 years old too, not Bilstein but the next best. I might just get Les to do it all, tires, shocks and bags along with the bearings/seals. Apologies to the originator for hijacking this thread.

I wouldn't take that chance. I've seen them towed safely with a 2wheel tow dolly and a hefty pickup or rental moving van. Also I don't believe you'd need to pull the axles, that's a lot of after work. Pull the driveshaft. In light of all of that how come you didn't put the pickup of the 88 onto the buyer?

Oh thanks for the link Linda, yes it's been on my radar for quite some time. I was thinking of cutting the old airbags in half and putting coil springs over them but these look much better and easier to install.

No worries, your rig sits high in the rear and looks beefed up is why I asked. My rig's rear end sags and I do the occasional scrape coming out of gas stations. That having the 21 footer and the 6 lug axle, you have mine beat by a mile. 😁

Not many of us live full time in our Toys. I do have a magnetic box in the engine compartment with an extra key for my bone head mistakes. Nowadays it's plastic over cash so no big wads to stash. You might want to join up with the full timers, here they talk about safes. Good luck and cheers! Gary

My left bag stays inflated for 6 months or more, I only put air in it maybe 1 time per year. The right one will hold air for a couple of days before needing air. Let me know how the replacement t9s go, I may order them as well. Cheers Gary

They say its common to loose up to 4 psi per sleeve, attached. I have T-9 airbags and my right airbag has had a slow leak for the last 10 years, I've lived with it and still do today. Not sure I will do a replacement but I probably end up doing a Zuiko modification cutting the old airbags in half and and inserting springs. Pass- He is nothing but a salesman or conman for that comment plus he's probably smoking something. I've seen this ad out there before so it could be fishy. One... for 15K the description should be more than a couple of sentences, like a paragraph of a spotless maintenance record history. 18K on the odometer, hard to believe but really this would be a sign of a bad fuel pump or worse yet a leaky gas tank from non-use. Nothing on the tires, no pic of the engine, etc... Honestly for that I would go for base Sprinter or get the toy floor plan of your dreams like a rear dinette with the panoramic view. Gary

I would ensure that your sink and shower (if you have one) doesn't also drain into the black tank. Resale... folks would prefer the black tank over compostable for the ease of dumping, having to dump the grey and compost separately is a hassle.

Carey, That's possible, you should dig around and find the exact spot of the leakage. If it's around the connections, plex pipes that could be the source. Let me ask do you use a water pressure regulator when hooked into city water? If not you should, the high pressure of some city lines will cause leaks. I've been there...😅 Cheers Gary

Hi Barbara, I'm sure the Sunrader folks will chime in to help but in the meantime read through this Sunrader gut and restore. They went to some extreme measures to deal with the roof sag. Can't say that would be for a newbie so hope there are easier solutions. Cheers, Gary

Since you have a new battery I assume it's fully charged, that's would be the first check. Next I would check for proper ground connections and make sure you have 12V. If you have a meter I would check for 12v on the converter, should be 2 big wires running into it from the battery. Is the coach battery under the hood or in the coach? Pictures would help too since there are probably modifications done over the years. Gary

Anything over 10 hours takes me a day to recover. At the speed of parked impossible to have cruise control so the right leg gets really cramped. You have a good mpg average there for age of your toy, I'd take that any day. Have a speedy recovery! Gary

Maybe with a handle like "Money" maybe people here are taking for granted you need no advice to get it done just $? You have something that the previous owner had different plans for other than a camper, who knows... To get back to a motor home a very steep curve if that's your goal here, most will shy away from because our toys didn't come in that horrid condition. Suggest you start by hooking up with Sunny78 and her thread where she is replacing a sagging Sunrader floor. Gary

Same here, I usually turn it off while getting gas. I have no worries sleeping with it on at night. I've read driving with the propane on circulates and cools better than a level fridge.

Who did you go through? I have a small crack forming in mine and am sure I will be replacing it in the near future.

As some state here the Sunrader has probably the most one-offs of any toy brand. I've seen 1 with bunk beds, impressive! How about a bathtub!

Fiberglass epoxy...wish I'd known. I had a 84 Subaru with cracks in the tank. I'd get under there every other month or so cover it with some swipes of bar soap, zest if i remember. I did that for a coupe of years, crazy young fools what were they thinking?
