  1. Should be able to find a universal one.
  2. Smart idea, we are all on borrowed time with the original’s if we still have them.
  3. Looks like it’s going to be quite well done when finished. I’d say 1/2 the “fun” 😂 Is working on these old yota’s, enjoy.
  4. Very nice, the springs in FL are quite something. Glad everything went smoothly.
  5. I put the Thunderer on our motorhome and have 15k miles on them so far. Very little wear, no idea about the ride differences.
  6. What a project! Great pictures and descriptions, looking forward to seeing your progression.
  7. The extra weight may be a factor. I keep OD off and keep the speed to 60 tops. Love the convenience of these rigs, pull into any Dunkin’ or gas station no problem
  8. Took our yearly trip to FL. This time got a camp site in Key Largo state park. The campground side is very clean, quiet. Water, electricity and sewer are included. Cost was something like 36 buck plus tax a night. We averaged about 10.5 mpg on the way down, from Maine. Didn’t see 1 Toyota coming down here, we camped for a week around FL before getting here too. The Toyota ran finest kind although I do need to adjust the valves this summer I believe, kinda ticky and I’m sure my mpg would increase. But all that aside, nice spot here and would recommend it!
  9. The best way to get to that is to take the shower pan off, once you do that you are starring at your problem.
  10. Looks like a minor issue, should be a easy fix
  11. -Did you check to see if the bulbs are good? - Any hardware store will have weather stripping that will work for the door jam. - The vinyl covering is like that most likely due to water damage. Take it off and see what you have to work with then you can repair and cover it with many different material options.
  12. Those white wires most likely go to the tank monitor in the coach, that lets you know how full the tank is, should be 3 different ones.
  13. I find that today most mechanic’s are just parts changers, hard To find one to diagnose the issue and do any research especially on an older vehicle that is not as common any longer. I find places like this site and other people around your area that drive older Toyotas and have an interest in them is the best source for info out there.
  14. Looks like a great trip. Was out there in 18, drove our Sienna through Denver into Vail, no place for the MH. Thinking of getting a Ebike, they look convenient.
  15. I would think more of whichever is stronger instead of R value
  16. Post pictures of your issues
  17. Got them quickly, installed and work great. Big upside is they are aluminum and not plastic like the originals.
  18. Whoa Linda, that was quick! Just ordered a few, they look like they are the same. Thank you
  19. I’m trying to find the brown plastic piece’s that hold the actual track
  20. Not sure what to call these little plastic things but the pictures will explain. Anyone have a line on these or a hardware store replacement?
