Generator Questions

They are not hard to get out they bolt in from the bottom you will have to deal with the wiring of course and plug the fuel line. The Champion was not designed to be used in a closed space so putting in the place of the old generator is not a good ideal other than just storing it there. Champion has made a pretty good name for it's self many RV outfit carry them now don't know a thing about their inverter ones I have only seen them..

Think anyone here would be interested in that generator, either to fix by replacing the brushes, or for parts? Otherwise I'll just take it to the scrap yard in the coming week.

There's a onan 2800 microlite for sale in Coose Bay, Or for $150, says he will look at anything over 100. Coose Bay, or craigslist. It has 192 hours on it, came out of a 88 dolphin with low miles. If anyone is interested in it I can look for them. I'm here for the day.

That's an excellent price.

New that unit is $2500. Used on e-bay $1200 - $1500.

If it starts and runs well, you could make some nice coin "flipping" it.
