thunder_chicken
Hi:Looking to purchase my first toyota motorhome. My wife and I are both on the tall side (6' 4" and 6' 0" respectively). We looked at an '89 Sunrader model and neither of us could stand up straight inside. Does anyone know if there are other manufacturers that have taller interior heights? Thank you in advance. Derek up North
Odyssey is a bit taller than the Dolphin but you still won't be standing straight @ 6'-4".
Derek up North
Ignoring the pop-tops, Sunrader is the lowest. Odysseys list their inside height at 6'-3". I don't know if that included the A/C and light fixtures! On the bright side, they're all so small inside that if you 'stand' up to 'walk' across the 'room', you don't really have time to fully straighten up before you're 'there'! thunder_chicken
Thank you Derek. I'm ok if I can't stand up straight 100% but my wife is more bothered by it. If a 6' tall person can stand up inside then that would be ideal. Thanks for the tip on the Odyssey.
Derek up North
Trickiest is going to be the shower. There's even less headroom in them all since the lose an inch or two because of the floorpan. Bending/stooping is hard too because the walls are close!
stamar
I am 6 3 and I cannot stand in a dolphin but I think 6 feet would work. Oddyssey is the tallest Theres another tall one but I can remember its name right now. You can see the angle up from the cabover trying to appeal to the 6 foot and over crowd That shower is indeed tricky. Ive never even thought about using it. I use that room for storage. WME
Installing a bubble skylight in the shower adds about 4" of headroom
Derek up North
In an 18' Sunrader, it might be necessary to cut holes in the bathroom door to make room for knees for someone 6'-4".

Odyssey 4x4
My Escaper is a tad over 6' 2". I'm about 6' 1" and my head clears the ceiling but definitely not the ac, showers are taken sitting down in pure comfort.
