Derek up North
I got an email this morning from a Forum member saying they couldn't get in to the Forum. Anyone else have any difficulty? Things were normal for me.
Derek up North
Just got this message from the same member: "Well now I'm getting a warning that toyotamotorhomes is corrupted and it doesn't open at all."
Derek up North
Clicking on the Classifieds gives me the following message: "The file /home/content/r/e/d/redmtnex/html/toyotamotorhomeorg/classifieds/index.php is corrupted. " Anyone?

Derek up North
I'm running XP Pro and Firefox 15.0.1. No problem here. I HATE automatic updates! If it's running smoothly, I hate it when I find an update. Firefox is nagging me to install v16. I keep refusing!

TacomaSue
I, too, opened to a corrupted message. When I clicked on the "get more info", the notice said that there was no evidence of malware in the last 90 days. The more info note said that the administrators should ask for a malware check, i.e. run their program. I clicked on the continue button (in the notice box) and the Forum opened ok for me. WME
Its definitely weird acting. Almost like only half an update has been done
Totem
The site is down. PHP is a web language like ASP or HTML. Index.php is the site's index; this tells the website what goes where etc. If it is opening for you after second click you have your browser set to store and retrieve cached versions of a page in event they are irretrievable. Greg will need to check this out; its down.

Totem
yeah firefox can be set to cache; I believe its set that way by default. so you are viewing a "copy" of the last time you visited the page; but not the real page itself.
bajadulce
? never saw any of this. Also in case you missed this in other forum category: ...There is also a new version of the software so tomarrrow evening I will do some upgrading.Greg So it's possible there have been some recent changes to the software.Greg gave me permission to the forum's admin panel last year, but rarely visit that nor mess w/ the board's features/settings themselves unless there is something definitely wrong or board is not working properly, but I don't see any immediate problems? Recently there was some guest posting permissions associated w/ the new "Opps and MIshaps" category that WME brought up and needed attending to as well as this annoying "guest report" bug that was attributed to a plugin associated w/ gallery images. Other than that, added Derek, waiter, and LindaS as moderators. Figured those 3 uniquely different users would make for a good check and balance. They have been doing a great job btw. Anywho... hopefully all is well and will check back occasionally.
Derek up North
Well, everything seems to be normal with my Firefox (which is all I use). Reading fresh posts.
Derek up North
Just for laughs, I decided to try with IE8. Got the same junk as others have reported. Also, my AVG AntiVirus detected and dealt with the following: "Exploit Blackhole Exploit Kit Detection (type 1989)" Whatever that means. MontanaChinook
Might just be the way the security works on my computer at work...but it treated this site as a virus on Friday. There was something weird with the header when it opened, then my computer shut it down, said it detected a virus, and 5 minutes later I got a call from our IT people saying I got a virus. One hour later I was allowed back on my computer...

Derek up North
Don't know if it's fixed everywhere, but everything seems to be wotking normally for me with IE8, which it wasn't yesterday. Even the Classifieds.

They're supposed to be here to support our work, as it relates to everything IT. Instead, they look at themselves and being in charge of everything we do, and they "police" us. bajadulce
Greg sent an email that indeed he had updated the forum's software over the weekend. In the process some of the software updates were in limbo and possibly why the boards were acting funny (as well as the potential google malware report etc.) But all is installed and working properly now.
