  1. Maybe next weekend. Give me a call at 510ppp990ppp0481 __ just take out the p's!
  2. I would guess that they are similar. Mine is on a 1987 chassis with the 22re engine. The frame of my coach is fiberglass but all manufacturers had about the same choices of what products they used to outfit the living area. You can come by most any time. Kim
  3. I have some extra parts, some weird things like the trim for the 14 inch ceiling hole, a dash, and stuff like that. Mine is an 88 Sunrader and I am in El Cerrito by Berkeley. Kim
  4. I was in the same situation and put in an engine from Sunwest. They were good to deal with and did a good job on the engine. After about 300 for shipping and 150 for the gaskets, it cost around 2,000 (I might be a little high on this). http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-22R-22RE-REBUILT-ENGINE-LONG-BLOCK-/331397907248?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d28dac330&vxp=mtr Here is a video of part of my work on my very slanted driveway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYerHpZvf9g&list=UUKKdTtDd_73MKZghl-qm6Dg
  5. I put the flat ones in several years ago. I even stuck one in my daily driver as a dome light cause they are so good and bright. I did not glue or stick anything -- they are just hanging and laying on the white plastic translucent covers -- they are that cool to the touch. Kim
  6. Since I am still active in the bar I have visions of doing an impromptu legal practice out of the Sunrader. Maybe with a sliding scale so poor people could have some help too. Not to get clients but to give an overview of the system and different strategies to use. Then I get lazy and seem to never run out of excuses for just sitting back. Kim
  7. Or use the light sending unit to trip an audible alarm. http://ex-en.alliedelec.com/search/productdetail.aspx?SKU=70115824
  8. Here is a video of what we did to ours to make setup and breakdown a breeze. It takes seconds to get the bed up and down and is fully supported. Kim https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1g_7qq4iLFc&list=UUKKdTtDd_73MKZghl-qm6Dg
  9. I would ask the driver at my local welding supply shop for their regulations.
  10. Be careful not to over tighten. The torque values are 48 in lbs (5.4 ft lbs). In fact, here is a torque list I compiled on evernote for my 1987 chassis: Mains 76 Stock Rod Bolts 46 ARP Rod Bolts 50 Intake Manifold 33 Exhaust Manifold 33 Oil Pan Bolts 9 Cylinder Head Bolts 62 Cam Timing Gear 58 Cam Bearing Bolt 14 Crankshaft Pulley 116 Timing Cover 8mm Bolts 9 Timing Cover 10mm Bolts 29 Flywheel 80 Cylinder Head Studs 70 Intake Manifold Bolts: 14 Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolts: 14 Cylinder Head Bolts – Stock: 62 Exhaust Studs: 33 Camshaft Timing Gear Bolt: 58 LC Cylinder Head Studs : 70 transmission pan bolts: 48 in lbs (5.4 ft lbs) wheels -- rears are supposed to be torqued to 170 ft lbs, and the fronts to 110 ft lbs
  11. I am over in El Cerrito (by Berkeley) and can meet nearby. Mine is 21 foot rear diner. Here is a video. Kim https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7jKGSP0MKY&list=UUKKdTtDd_73MKZghl-qm6Dg
  12. Reminds me of a joke when I worked at the power company. Two workers were driving around in a company truck and stopped on a bridge. One guy spotted a snail and violently stomped on it. The other guy was shocked and asked "why did you squish the poor thing?" Poor thing my eye, the creep was following us around all day!
  13. I am over in the east bay by Berkeley -- If you ever make it over here I would like to take a look. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7jKGSP0MKY
  14. I approached it a little differently. I plan on interrupting the 12v switched line to the electric fuel pump. As I recall it is a blue wire under the pass seat. I got the toggle switch now all I need is motivation to slap it in somewhere. Kim
  15. To add to the blah, blah and my youtube count, the one I put in was fairly big, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CIGE9G/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, and I only removed the grill not the bumper. You can see what I removed and the cooler here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfWdoPQRQes. I made some rinka-a-dink metal brackets (that's the "welding" I moan about) and it just went right in. I did have to get a few new plastic clips for the grill but overall the job was very easy. Although I made brackets, that was not necessary. Total time was maybe two hours and it works fine. This is in a 1987 so may not apply. Kim
  16. Here are the guys I used, Sunwest, and the engine runs like a champ. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-22R-22RE-REBUILT-ENGINE-LONG-BLOCK-/331195200885?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d1cc5b575&vxp=mtr
  17. Welcome back jdemaris. You and your expertise were terribly missed. Kim
  18. I have not worked on a 94 but on my 87 those directions would be technically correct. The fender has to be removed but it's the inner fender and held in place by a few screws or snaps or something (it's been a while). If you take your inner fender off you can get to what fell in. It is easier if the front wheel is taken off. Then you will see the coax go into a hole in the firewall. If you need to replace that coax, you would have to fish it through there and get it to the radio. You need to get to the back of the radio to insert the coax so parts of the dash or the radio would need to be moved. But likely the old coax is fine and only needs an antenna. It's up to you. Kim
  19. You don't need any special tools. I would run a tap down those two removal holes if needed. Here is how I got the cone washers out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePjqBuJ_a5k&feature=youtu.be
  20. Here is where we put ours. http://youtu.be/6s27r9ElUjY
  21. Here is a video and at the end it tells how to get rid of the front end noise. Kim https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALK0Bf-6vC8
  22. vizio VM19XVT. They are great and 12v. You might want to get a cheap wall mount also. Kim
  23. To repeat, make sure the RV is level otherwise you will ruin the refrigerator -- it cannot run akilter on propane or electricity. Kim
