  1. Today I noticed my engine manifold had cracked and was the main culprit of the rattle! But now that I fixed that I still think my timing might be a little off and probably should pull my valve cover, replace the chain guide and check valve gaps. Can I use a timing gun on this engine? And adjust?
  2. I just noticed at 102k miles, I'm hearing a slight knocking sound from engine. I have not had anything done on my engine or tuneup in 2 years. I'm due for a 5000 mile oil change. Any advice before I take it in. These engines need a timing belt done? I have not been using much this summer since winter.
  3. I have the auto start model I purchased on eBay. Been sitting on my shelf all winter, now that weather is good I'll be installing! I too will need a retro fit door.
  4. Ski season is almost here, just had a ride in a VW with heated seat warmers. Has anybody retrofitted any into their camper? This might be a good winter project and also be great for our rainy all year weather and nice for after kayaking. What seats should I use?
  5. This might be a good time to upgrade to a better system? I added a blue seas marine grade magnetic dual battery relay in mine with a dash rocker switch to combine or isolate starter and house batteries. Works great.
  6. My 12v dometic fridge sucks a lot of power, I only use for whilst driving. Wow you get at most ten amps from 2 100w panels! That's twice as much as I have ever gotten, but I live in the Pacific Northwest. Today I was making 2.5 amps. The beauty of solar is I no longer have to plug in my rv to recharge my batteries! Batteries will last longer I'm sure now.
  7. I like the speaker so much I have 3 Velcro locations in the camper and simply move it where I want sound, plus great for backpacking and skiing too
  8. Looks like a good deal. You'll have to tinker with it but you will have a blast. Where is it at?
  9. At the OR coast doing what this Sunrader does best! Playing in the sand
  10. Looks like the SW4D might fit http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/121779317564
  11. I finally had some time to add a USB Port and a neat little portable speaker and a place to store phone, glasses and a book in the over cab area. It's on the front shower wall, I took the shower vanity out (4 screws) and got access behind the wall to add the USB port and simply wired to existing light. The neat little JBL Bluetooth speaker has amazing sound and I used Velcro to add to wall. I use it for other outdoor activities. $49 bucks at best buy.
  12. I thought I had a 6 gallon in there? I'll have to measure.
