paulnptld
Has anyone managed to put a 30lb horizontal propane tank in a Dolphin? It looks like there's plenty of room on either side for a larger tank, but I don't want to risk buying one that won't fit. My 20lb tank is ancient, and definitely in need of replacement in the near future. Thanks!
Maineah
Have you looked at the frame mounted tanks?
paulnptld
I haven't. Is there room under the vehicle for additional tanks? How are they refilled?

5Toyota
with a frame mounted tank you have to drive to a refill station
linda s
Frame mounted tanks cost close to 3 times the cost of a removable one. Just measure carefully and include the clearence needed for the regulator. Most online propane sales show exact measurements of the tanks. Better if you can find a local place that sells them and try it out Linda S
Vanman
I measured the size of my propane tank cabinet and it would be a tight fit. But by my calculations I would not be able to get that big a tank in or out of the door, which on mine is somewhat smaller than the inside dimentions. If someone made one fatter but no longer I'd go for it. Haven't seen that online yet in a horizontal tank.
