JIMER
Looking for help. Reinstalling front facing bubble window. Where can I find a gasket that fits the channel and correct size? I plan to use silicone caulk to seal it in first, is this correct? Thanks
extech
do not use silicon to seal it. it will leak. just dealt with it myself. i don't remember where to get the outer gap filler bead, but someone here will chime in you need to use butyl rubber sealant. same as used to install windshields
IdahoDoug
I'll be doing this one day, and making new windows, but what's the "outer gap filler bead"? Are you referring to the bead of butyl? Thanks.
extech
referring to the rubber locking bead that holds the window against the frame

linda s
The window is sealed to the frame with windshield adhesive. Extech if you could post the thread from Waiter that I sent you about your window it is a step buy step instruction. Can't post it from my phone Linda S
