  1. thanks for updating an out of date old guy . I have a 13 inch wards 1986 in my bedroom. the old 2 tuner type still works great. with a converter box. but not 12 volt LOL.
  2. I did not know if they still made them . I think they are a good deal.
  3. on a trip I pulled in to the pump 2 blocks away I saw a large class a pumping away I pulled in put in 8 gallons after 90 miles. the pump shut off and I left . and that big class a was still pumping away. another time I parked next to a big 4 slider type . guy said it was his first trip in 2 years said he got 5 miles to a gallon.
  4. there is a multi layer bubble wrap type insulation silver on one side I think . some one here will recall the name of it I don't. may be a little better .
  5. I use the 12 volt to charge a cell phone. back in the day there were 12 volt powered tv set s. as for the bath fan I relocated my switch into a wall mount black radio shack project box. the gas cook stove will make a lot of condension. yes I see you have the coax plug for the antana . as for removing a frige people on here have said take out the right front seat. and go through the cab I have not done that job. I have a 87 dolphin 400. the only micro I know of came with these new I have the book it was a magic chef and set on top of the refrigerator. and plug in the 120 plug next to tv plug .do you have a working stove hood should be used when cooking. and you can by just the motor for the bath fan. I replaced the fan blade in myn. the couch does not have a mattress the back of the couch swung down and out . I just use foam and a sleeping bag . but I am not living in myn full time.
  6. you would love mine it is a 1940 to 1950s sun with a heavy metal cast face . bought for 25 from an old timer a freand some years ago.
  7. I have stated value on my dolphin with Grange ins. for 8000 in writing.
  8. seen some people that think the clutch pedal is a foot rest. that will sure let it slip and burn.
  9. does anyone remember the old time pickups and other trucks that had the gas tank behind the seat in the cab. the good old days.
  10. asme would be a non removable to fill type. Dot type remove to fill.
  11. borg warner license maybe A40 not sure
  12. well said fiberglass burns very fast I once witnessed a boat burn on a trailer. from welding.in five minites nothing was left.
  13. you might check harbor freight. I bought a hitch platform carrier from them . way cheaper then any place else . That is a very nice price and good looking bike rack Linda posted on here for that type.
  14. well when I said bosch plugs I new about all those fancy types but I never have bought any of them . just the old standerd bosch or regular ngk. I just recalled my dolphin had a very bad miss this spring. I had not tuned it up since I had it . I removed a set of some brand of four way crap plugs. put in a set of stock ngk and it runs great.have to look and see what they were but I don't buy that stuff.
  15. first thing I would check is the batteries and just because the battery is new or almost new does not mean it is good. not long ago I bought a new starting battery which failed in just a few months. it was replaced at no cost to me .
  16. I have an 87 model 400 rear bath 2 plug in tables xtra window to right of camper door rear kitchen.
  17. there might be and might not. if not install a water heater bypass kit. is used to avoid filling 6 gallons of rv antifreeze in the water heater and can be used to bypass a bad heater.
  18. I have for many years used the standard NGK or bosh. or nipondenso plug. in all my datsen or Toyotas. and I agree use a good filter like a wix or purolator. I would not put a fram on anything .the air filters will break apart from moter heat.and allow dirt in the moter.
  19. my 87 appears to have spent most of its life in the dry desert of eastern Washington. was sold new in Portland Oregon. has very little rust underneath. really none on the cab. I have an 88 xtra cab 4wd 250,000 miles on it . a little rust but not too bad. I don't drive my motorhome in winter and they do salt roads here . you do see heavy rust out in seattle or Portland Oregon heavy rain and salt air areas.
  20. the 50 year old method always worked well fo r us my wife has set inside operating the brake or clutch pedal . which ever we did . what ever you do a through bleeding is a must.
  21. fuel pump not a big deal, but the condtion or I should say lack of quality condtion. all torn out bad rear axle. you are making a wise choice. you can find a good one.
  22. yes 3 burner with oven seat belt must be bolted thru the floor all the way thru and I would use some heavy washers. top and bottem. when wheather is good I do my cooking outside anyway I carry a 2 burner colman stove and a small propane grill. the org frige can run on gas lot of money to buy new tho. I should of said some only had a cooktop no oven. the one in the the little door down by rear entry door could be the propane tank
  23. at that price if it run s ok and I am glad you knew about the axle. the 22 r stick is a good setup . is there any id name on the outside .if dolphion national rv archive is another site to look at. do things in side work ok
