  1. 93-94 were the switch over years, try looking for the pressure switch for a 95. If there is a parts drawing on the 88-94 sensor look at the compressor fittings. R-12 and R134 are different.
  2. Here are some idea that about converting a Toyota MH. Your are starting from nothing, but some of the ideas may work for you. Espically the idea about having a removable camper, so that you can have a dual use flatbed truck to haul things. story....http://toyotamotorhome.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=206&hl=sawzall pictures ... https://www.flickr.com/photos/78578602@N06/ another project http://thesupercamper.blogspot.com/2006/09/super-camper-construction-begins-nida.html Here is one more project, its a long read. http://www.hookedupfilms.com/category/huf-adventure-vehicle/ Good luck on your project
  3. A 6203 is not a 6203,weird. I seem to remember that I had a belt problem too. I seem to remember moving the idler "overcenter" to the other side and then found a belt that fit. Of course my rememberer could be wrong
  4. Get an old amp meter and hook it into the circuit. You should see a 15 amps the instant you flip on the DC switch The instruction I've seen say you have 2 switches. Gas or Electric and a 110 or 12 switch
  5. A 6203 is a standard bearing 40mm OD x 12mm W x 17mm ID. $5-6 ea.
  6. Check your 110 v AC source, plug in light bulb. Your RV has a power panel that normally has 2 110v circuit breakers and 6+ 12v fuses
  7. Your back, so after a summer in your M/H are you ready to move into a "big" 18ft Sunrader?? Hows the refer doing after all the problems??
  8. Impossible to tell with out looking at the system. In the bad old days, if you couldn't find an electronic problem you over fused the unit and looked for the smoke. Some where you should be able to find the watt rating for the 12v heater, do the math and fuse about 20% over the required amps
  9. A Dometic 3-way is fused with a 30 amp 12v dc fuse
  10. Many years ago I owned several MBZ. When somebody, who had never made a trip in a MBZ, got in the first time they always said the seats were to hard and uncomfortable. After a 400 mi cruise the comment was I feel great nothing is sore, those seats sure are comfortable. Enjoy yours
  11. The only thing I can think of is that the service tech cycled the LP drain and that cleared out some dirt or something and now the valve is sealing.
  12. I have an Onan, this year we had a mechanical breakdown in Hazelton ND pop 213. Due to a city celebration we were there for 3 days until the parts/mechanic showed up on Monday. It was in the mid 90s, we put over 20 hr on the genset running the A/C. Was sure glad we had both.
  13. One other thing I did was to use a muffler from a Ford P/U with a single exhaust and a 460 cid engine. Very quiet, a mellow tone and no back pressure
  14. The "correct" genset would be the Onan 2800 Microlite. They are in the 2700-3000$ range. Are sure you cant do a box on the rear bumper for your Honda to live in? Some one here cut the bottom out of the generator box and made it lower so his portable would fit
  15. To help the missus "reason" with a ranger get here one of these and let her help enlighten the ranger http://www.ebay.com/itm/Portable-30-130dB-LCD-Digital-Audio-Sound-Noise-Level-Meter-Backlight-/201147810768?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ed55803d0
  16. No drag hitch for Toyota MH https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/toyota-campers/photos/photostream/lightbox/1300070889?orderBy=mtime&sortOrder=desc&photoFilter=ALL#zax/1300070889 https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/toyota-campers/photos/photostream/lightbox/1300070889?orderBy=mtime&sortOrder=desc&photoFilter=ALL#zax/1300070889
  17. Mine were so bad I just pulled the old ones out by hand. The new ones needed some lube and a large C clamp to install. No press needed
  18. My system...stock to cat converter, then 2" to muffler, then 2.25" for the rest. Reason is that the local muffler shop doesn't have a mandrel bender. The bender they have reduces the cross section a bit in the corners.
  19. With folks looking for an edge in dealing with heat gain I found something that might help a bit. I bought a new trailer, it has an uninsulated aluminum roof. In direct sun the inside of the roof was 91 deg. After 2 coats of a white roof sealer the inside temp was 86. So it appears to do some good. On a rubber roof or fiberglass who knows.
  20. Are you sure you were just watching the lighting, any possibility you were hit.?
  21. Remove the o ring seal. They are usually square in cross section drop in a small dia o ring then reinstall the stock seal.
  22. Uh beg to differ. Remote transmission filter kits are all over the internet. Most will require a few feet of rubber hose.
