Yes that insert edge trim looks pretty bad but unfortunately it's also very expensive. I would fill the gap with something and try to save the insert trim. Well I found some but you will need to measure and see if it will fit. The toyota camper group on yahoo has the most info I know of. The manual is pretty slim if you need major restoration but look in the other files and you can find manuals for all your appliances too. Your right I mis-spoke. It has solid lifters but no rocker arms that can loosen and make a clacking or ticking sound. The sound is what I was trying to address but I said it wrong. On the v6 a quiet engine doesn't mean everything is well. Linda S

I might have been wrong on the width though. Is the panel edge your covering 1/8 inch or 1/16. If you look around on the grainger site they do have a 1/16 width too. I know my paneling is pretty thin but don't know how thin Linda S

That's why I posted the Grainger site. They are a trim lok dealer so you don't have to buy 500ft. That I believe is the correct width and the shallowest depth available. Linda S

Are you sure the roof is that thin. I am not a delicate little thing and I would have no problems what so ever jumping rope on my roof. I get on the roof every time I give it a good wash too. Had it long enough so that some of the vents have been replaced twice. have fallen off of it and sometimes I just sit up there are look around. Snow tires would be very expensive but they are available. Chains are required to be put on rear tires here in california so I don't know if that would work either. If you need to be warm inside you need hookups. The furnace will run your battery dead before the night is through. helps to make reflectix covers for all windows at night. use rv anti freeze in your water tank but be sure to run some of it through the lines and into holding tanks. Fresh water in bottles. It can be done but take a lot of planning Linda S

There should be edge trim where the wall meets the roof. Butyl tape goes under that before it's screwed down. Is the edge trim not there. Show pic of it Linda S

Did you ever run the vin number at a toyota dealership and see if the head gasket recall was done on yours. The recall is still open and if it has not been done you can get it done. Linda S

I'm so glad you found your keys. Losing keys is one thing I am really good at but they always seem to show up somewhere. One time the only reason I found them was because my neighbors dog knocked over my garbage can on pickup day and the garbage truck just left it. Odometer is turned by the same cable as the speedometer. If that's still working your cable is probably OK. Must be odometer itself. It's an 82. Do you really need to know how many more miles you have put on it? Linda S

I used Captain Tolleys on my Tiger Provan windows. Worked great. Like Waiter said the glass is not sealed by the rubber gasket. It is sealed to the metal frame with some kind of glue like windsheild goo. When that stuff cracks the only option is to take it to a glass place and have it resealed or Captain Tolleys Linda S

I'd like to see the 4x4 too.Any on a Dodge are a 4x4 conversion. Chinook didn't make any 4x4 rigs when they were still using Dodge chassis. There was one for sale up near you last summer I think. Maybe it's the same one. Linda S

No I have never seen anything like that. It looks pretty nice. Wonder how that tire drops down. Also wonder what they did with his grey tank. it should be where the tire is and the battery bank is where the tire used to be. I recently replaced a Coach battery that was mounted underneath the frame and what a pain. Literally. I still have a mark on my chest where the dang thing landed on me when I got all the bolts off. Should have had one of those wide shop lifters to lower it. Also absolutely have to only use AGM sealed batteries. No way to maintain a water based battery under there. Considering the money this guy spent on redoing this rig I'm sure it was custom made. Send them a message and ask if they are going to be selling them. if they think there is a market they might decide to make a few. Or maybe they buy them and they will tell you who makes them. The 3vze engine doesn't have lifters. Thats why it's so hard to have the valves adjusted. The cam pushes up on the shims, lifting the valves. Maintenance is everything on these engines. Linda S

Well that one costs a grand. There is also another one made by Girard and they run about 600. Almost twice the cost of a conventional rv water heater. There are much cheaper small electric water heaters but they usually use more amps than our power centers can handle. Also some very small propane heaters that are made to be used outdoors. It might be possible to install them where your current water heater is but put in a little fan to make sure it vents properly. I don't know tis for sure though and you always have to be careful with the propane stuff. Don't want you going Kaboom when you light your stove Linda S

The weight of everthing I put on the back on the hitch carrier and the bumper comes in at right around 150lbs including the carrier weight. I can't say I've ever noticed a difference in steering. I don't know but my Sunrader is a short one and maybe that makes a difference. Linda S

I have only seen age restrictions at very high end Rv parks that cater mostly to the big class A's. They are more like a resort and they are very expensive. Most cost more than a nice hotel room. I have never had a problem anywhere getting into regular RV park with my 1986 Sunrader. Of course the nicest places are usually state and national parks. Never heard of age restrictions there. Yes for shopping or sight seeing you need to unhook. Not a big deal. I don't use the sewer hook ups at the campsite so not hooked up there. I just wait and dump when it needs it. Always better to see what you want to before you get to campsite or after and buy as much groceries as you will need. In most cases your campsite is your destination so relax and enjoy it Linda S

Like I said before you are allowed to include your attorney's fees in the judgement if it should come to that. If you do end up getting a judgement against him you can get a lein on anything he owns. His house, car. Does he have a nice truck. Get a lein on it and then you can send a tow truck to pick it up and sell it. He owns rental property. If you take out a lein on his property he will never be able to get a loan on that property, ever, until your debt is paid and you remove the lein. Lots of options buddy.
