  1. 1990 is the last year of the little Winnie's with the 320RC and the 320 RB being the only models. They only have a dinette so no sofa to lounge on. Front overhead is also more slanted so less wind resistance but less room in the overhead bed too. I prefer the rear kitchen model on these little ones. Less bathroom means more living space in an already very small motorhome. Linda S
  2. This guy made this himself. Your going to want one. It's just too darn cute. Never have seen a toy or model for our little rigs ready made though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygbfWEUJk68 Linda S
  3. Yes Karen is absolutely correct. Use the weld on stuff. Hope he manages to get it fixed without you needing a new window. Linda S
  4. Yup I used those same 4 way plugs and your not supposed to gap them. very expensive crap Linda S
  5. Have them drill a tiny hole at the end of the crack before they work on it. Takes the stress off of the sheet. Fill the tiny crack and drilled hole with gel crazy glue. Just be careful and only put it in the crack, both sides. Make sure they don't work outside where it's so cold. Old plexiglass is more brittle when cold. Good luck Linda S
  6. The standard for water tanks is to treat them with bleach at least once a year to disinfect. I use 1 cup bleach for my 20 gallon tank. Let it sit for a couple of days and empty and rinse a couple times before filling it with water I use for anything. That would kill you little bugs pretty quick Linda S
  7. Fuel tanks for 1982 models have been discontinued by Toyota a long time ago and I don't know anyone who makes after market tanks. A couple of members here have had their old tanks treated to renew them. Might be your only option or a junk yard for a decent used one. Linda S

  9. You can do it yourself. Best solution when you buy a vehicle this old is to learn how to do some repairs. I have installed windows in my Nissan Sunrader. Wasn't easy but I managed. Can you post a picture of your windows now? I would like to see how bad it is. If you want to try it I will post links to the correct rubber seal Linda S
  10. All the sites I look at specify with or without dual wheels for the calipers. They are not the same as the other models Linda S Is there an Oreilly's near. Read the description to see which ones are for duallys or not. Most of these are available shipped to store within 24 hours http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/search.oap?keyword=brake+caliper&year=1993&make=Toyota&model=Pickup&vi=1278019
  11. I put Bosh Platinum plugs in a few years ago thinking it would run better. Didn't in fact ran worse. When I took them out they looked really bad even though less than 5000 miles on them. I buy my plugs at Toyota now. Pre-gapped and pretty cheap Linda S
  12. I looked into changing the stall speed on my 22re with A43D trannie after getting stuck in the mountains one time. Turns out that change would increase the heat in the transmission by a lot and heat is death to the A43d trannie especially with so much weight we have Linda S
  13. Fix the rubber seal. I really don't like the look of a Sunrader with fiber glassed over front windows. New rubber can be bought. A good vehicle window place should have it or look online for locking weather-strip. There were only a few more than a dozen V6 shortiy Sunraders ever made. I so like to see the few original ones not messed around with too much. You probably paid fat money for this rig. Fixing the window seal is not going to be more expensive than fiber glassing it in and it will look way better. My Toyota Sunrader has the original windows and seal and doesn't leak at all. My Nissan Sunrader came with a broken window and I replaced it my self. Linda S Correction, 1 dozen Toyota Sunraders and 1 dozen Nissan Sunraders with the 18 ft chassis and a v6. Still one of the rarest vehicle's on the road and deserving of some respect for it's integrity
  14. Is it possible that max pressure is just too much for them. Air compressors are not very exact. Maybe 100 is just more than they can really hold. My older bags have a limit of 90 psi but I have never inflated them higher than 70. Very hard ride even at 70 Linda S
  15. Find a wrecked or salvage Lesharo. They have heat exchange water heaters. A wrecked Rialta will too. There are some on eBay and not crazy expensive. The drawback is if you don't want to run the engine you need a generator or someplace to hook up http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=atwood+heat+exchange+water+heater&_sop=15 Linda S
  16. Well I guessed pretty close. The one I posted went for 47 bucks including shipping. I have very good luck with eBay. Prices way lower than local. I just bought a wrong extension for my wheels cause the picture wasn't accurate. They offered to take them back but I told the guy I messed them up pretty bad trying to bend them to make them work. He said it was his fault cause the pic was wrong and returned my money and told me to throw away the bad extensions. Can't beat that for service Linda S
  17. This looks like the right one. For VZN 85 or 95 with the WT chassis. That means dual wheel chassis http://www.villagetoyotaparts.com/products/TOYOTA/1993/4Runner3000CC-EFI--AUTOMATIC--4-SPEED-COLUMN-SHIFTTRUCK--STANDARD/DISC--FRONT/2070110/4351235160.html Linda S
  18. Well in that case I would definitely paint it to look like a truck with a camper. I really like Johns pics of the chinook he used to own. yahoo won't let me copy and paste so here's the link https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/toyotachinook/search/photos?query=john#zax/albums_1618935070 Bet you never get charged the higher fee if it looked like this Linda S
  19. Those wheels appear to be deep dish with quite a substantial off-set. Still going to be a strain on the 5 lug axle. Also you don't know how long those wheels have been on there. This model was originally sold with fake duallies. This RV is a Sunrader and if you like the look you can start searching for them. It is an 18 footer Linda S
  20. I searched for 2 years for my Sunrader. Trust me one will come up that is perfect for you at the right price. Lets see what happens with that clean looking Dolphin. Linda S
  21. I have to tell you I didn't comment before because I thought the other one was a done deal and it looked like a mess to me. So happy your still looking. It pays in the long run to be patient and find one in good shape. Linda S
  22. Did you see this one. Newer and most Dolphins already have the upgraded axle. If this does it's actually cheaper than the other one your looking at. Looks very clean and low mileage. A drive but not crazy far Linda S http://mobile.craigslist.org/rvs/5269575994.html
  23. If I need a ladder I would definitively go with one of these. Very lightweight. There are slightly shorter ones available. Prices on eBay are all over the place. I didn't take the time to find the cheapest so look around first if you choose to get one. Might store in a closet Linda S http://www.ebay.com/itm/330Lbs-10-5FT-11-Steps-Aluminum-Telescoping-Collapsible-Extension-Ladder-US-SHIP-/311356149133?hash=item487e45cd8d:g:G0kAAOSwcwhVMIoK OK looked around. This one is being bid on but should go for less than 50 bucks including shipping. 8.5 feet http://www.ebay.com/itm/EN131-8-5FT-Aluminum-Telescoping-Telescopic-Extension-Ladder-Tall-Multi-Purpose-/201451197552?hash=item2ee76d5470:g:6vUAAOSweW5VHI~i
