  1. very damaging to rubber. Ask your wife what it would do her bra. One wash and it would be garbage bound. In a water pump O rings will degrade Linda
  2. There's is only one. For a truck, a box truck, a flatbed or a 4runner. The auto trannies for an 86 4 banger is the A43D. Linda S
  3. Half a gallon of bleach is way too much. Way way too much. !/2 a cup is more like it. Kind of surprised your pump still works after that Linda S
  4. Pretty much the same. Of course it depends on how steep the hill is. I attempted one hill where my rig just stopped and mine is an 18 footer so it weighs less. Welcome to the world of Toyota motorhomes Linda S
  5. The Rialta also has extremely low ground clearance too. No driving to any remote campground. I would not want to take it off pavement at all. Linda S
  6. Use Toyota plugs and buy them from the dealer. They come pre-gapped and they are cheap. Platinum plugs were terrible in my Toyota and I bought the very pricey Bosh ones. Junk Linda S
  7. I've never used my water heater either. Most campgrounds have showers. Linda S
  8. I don't know what you bought but window glazing bead cost less than 2 bucks a foot. http://www.all-rite.com/window-parts-c-60.html Please tell me what you paid 14 bucks a foot for. Linda S
  9. I was surprised to find out that seat belts are not required in the living area of a motorhome in California. I guess most states are the same. As bouncy as our rigs are someone could get hurt without even getting in an accident. Lately I haven't been using my seat belt very much Don't know why. Just playing with death I guess. Live in a small town now and police are not so aggressive here either. Linda S
  10. All mechanical parts are just Toyota. Your engine is the Toyota 3.0 v6. Your transmission is an A340H. Any good parts place or Toyota dealer can source your correct parts from your vin number. The coach section of your rig probably has the same appliances the rest of us do. If you have a problem with something there are some manuals in our files section or you can post the model number of it and ask. I've only seen one other Fiesta based Toyota motorhome. The company "Vehicle Concepts Corp" was better known for their camper vans. Linda S
  11. Your rig came from Toyota with a 2 row radiator and that was before anyone slapped a house on the back. Yes yours is probably insufficient. Sherrie's problem got fixed after she had the system properly flushed. Every different mechanic added different coolants and you can see from the jug she posted a picture of they didn't mixed well. Maybe you could use a new water pump. Way cheaper than a new engine Linda S
  12. Maybe someone should just ask him Linda S
  13. Wow looks like a super deal even needing the work. Linda
  14. It's a house. Decorate it like you would a house. Not many people choose to paint the whole inside of their house white. Coordinating colors with fabric in subtle tones creates an expensive finished look. If in good shape, leaving some of the wood, like maybe just bottom cabinets, can add interest. There are online programs for home decorating where you can do mock-ups and see how you like it. Linda
  15. Do you still have the part number Toyota used? I come up with this. Seems to be available lots of places https://www.google.com/#q=toyota+part+04465-YZZA9 Linda S
  16. Yes you can still get the window bead rubber. If there's anything not available lots of guys here are spectacular at improvising. I love to see stuff saved too. Hope you go for it Linda S
  17. Mine was set in the middle. I maxed it out. No change in braking. Linda
  18. I said it before but your rig didn't come with a trannie temp light. Where is it located. Show us a pic of it. Aftermarket additions might be faulty. Always safer to stay out of 4th though with the a43d trannie unless going downhill. Linda
  19. I found a little box on ebay that is just Honda size. maybe you could put the other stuff elsewhere Linda S http://www.ebay.com/itm/24-Aluminum-Truck-Pickup-Underbody-Underbed-Toolbox-Trailer-Storage-Tool-Box/191843635531?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D37253%26meid%3D682819105a9f43d59bd56885c667e612%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D291669528297
  20. Ya know I never looked at the weight before. Just never thought they would be that heavy. The 6mm one is 2 lbs per sq foot so that might be doable. My little Sunrader has very little floor space. Linda S
  21. If I ever get around to redoing my floor I think I'm going to go with sheet rubber floors like they use in a gym. Not too expensive and they have a good insulating value. Also not slippery. I store lots of stuff under my table and I don't want it sliding around. Found some pretty nice looking ones too. The coffee creek one is nice http://www.rubberflooringinc.com/rubber-roll/index.html?sl=1043&utm_source=google&utm_term=&utm_campaign=Shopping+-+Rubber+Flooring+-+US&utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=s_pcrid_76260206465_pkw__pmt__pdv_c_pprd_1043&gclid=CKfx1qGhus0CFQmRaQoddRQGzg#!showSample=1043&color=5308&popup=samples Linda S
