icravewaves
Hello everyone, I have a 1988 Toyota Seabreeze. I need front and rear shocks and airbags. Any suggestions on what type works best and where to purchase online? Thanks!
linda s
Here are part numbers for the most popular. You can then shop around and see if you can find a better price. These are for a motorhome, not a truck http://www.shockwarehouse.com/index.cfm?mode=results&selected_model=4485&selected_year=1988 Linda S
jjrbus
I ordered the same KYB shocks from Summit Racing for my 93, no problems or issues with them. About the same price. http://www.summitracing.com/?ibanner=HP60NavSRE1 Are you looking for replacement air bags or do you need a whole kit? Totem
I go with what Linda recommended; well worth the extra $; german quality parts. For air bags I believe that's going to depend on what system you have in it now. If you have 3T's its much easier to replace with another set of 3Ts. YAFYAS
As Linda suggested above, do some price comparisons. Bilsteins are a bit more costly but well worth it. I used e-shocks.com because unlike some of the other sites, they actually had them in stock. I would recommend staying away from the Monroes, I originally purchased them and they completely failed during a 100mi. trip. They did refund what I paid which is a plus. So imho, Bilstein, Koni, KYB are the way to go for mini-motorhome shocks.
