rvjapan
I have a 1991 Warrior that has a table that folds into a bed only. Need ideas on how to make more sleeping area. Any ideas and photos would be great. Like to see what other people have done before I start this. Thanks from Japan.
Nam
Bunk bed is one way to go. I haven't seen one done but it's doable.
Derek up North
I'm having a hard time figuring out what a table that turns into a bed is, unless it's a dinette table that drops down between the seat cushions.
rvjapan
It's the dinette table that drops down into a bed. I have the double wide dinette set up without a couch and no chair. Need more sleeping space for my college age kids for a two week trip around japan. Any photo or plans would help thanks for your input love this web site. Derek up North
I guess it's going to depend on how permanent you want any changes to be. Are you saying that there was once a couch but it's been removed or is it a 'shorty' that had a dinette only. Is this a 'normal' left hand drive Winnebago, to avoid possible confusion when referring to 'driver's side' or 'passenger side'? I know when I was college aged I could sleep anywhere. A sleeping bag on a pad on the floor would be fine in exchange for a 2 week tour of anywhere.
WME
Given that any design must fit in the toy during the driving. The simple answer is some sort of folding bunk that would go over over dinette for the night stop.
passman
I'm still trying to figure out how to fit my overstuffed Lazyboy recliner where the rear dinette used to be.....
linda s
A sleeping bag on the floor would work. Just make them take turns getting the dinette bed. Linda S
Derek up North
'Sleeping bag on the floor' sounds too 'normal'. Gotta give it some 'exotic' appeal:- https://www.google.ca/search?q=japanese+folding+floor+mattress&client=firefox-a&hs=Zix&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=sb&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=Jp_JU7axOciHyASekoKICA&ved=0CDAQsAQ&biw=1366&bih=

Derek up North
Introduce them to a bottle of Saké and they won't feel a thing. Except in the morning, perhaps.
