olddog22202
I am about to pull the trigger and buy a '93 Sea Breeze that appears to be in pretty cherry condition. It needs to be as first trip goes from Nova Scotia to WA state - July-Sept. I may not know how to ask Search the right way but I find a shocking lack of info on the Dolphin/SeaBreeze RV's. Can anyone reference me where I can buy/borrow/download or buy some info that will enable me to perform some of the basics like have hot water or a cold refrigerator, etc? Also, given I am not a mechanic, what sort of basic tools should one have on board to cover some common problems? And lastly, before I totally wear out my welcome, why would I want to buy coverage with AAA-Good Sam-Coach-net when it seems to me my RV coverage from Ins company (Hartford I think) seems to provide the towing and roadside services? I am pretty new to RVing so do not assume any response may be too basic......and THANKS! MikeMc

olddog22202
WOW,WOW &WOW. You are one very impressive source of information. This is the second time you have come up with exactly what I am looking for. Next question? Is it worth visiting Quebec City or Montreal on the way from NS to my first have to be there stop in TN? Time frame is mid-late July. Thanks Derek MikeMc
Derek up North
Both Quebec City and Montreal attract lots of tourists in the Summer. They can't all be wrong! http://www.bonjourquebec.com/qc-en/regions0.html
Bob C
I got Good Sam coverage because they don't have a limit on towing distances and they will use a vehicle suitable for hauling an RV. While in the middle of Wyoming or Montana, the distances can be great. The policy covers my wife's car, my truck, and my motorcycle. As far as working on Toyhouses, they are very simple pieces of equipment. Take you time and read the manuals, most things are easy to fix. If you don't have a volt meter, get one. You will need it for many repairs.

Derek up North
There's not too much info in it. 1985_Dolphin_Manual.pdf
tofubiscuit
Where did you get these manuals? While my 87 sunrader came with the sunrader manual (times have changed - the toaster I recently bought has a manual the same size as the sunrader manual!), I have been looking for the manual for repairs on the actual Toyota half of the rv. Is there a place to go that has the manuals for the older models?
Derek up North
Where did you get these manuals? Just here and there on the net. Nothing original to me, just stuff I've found with the help of others on the Forum & Yahoo Group plus my constant companion, Mr Google. 1985 Factory Service Manual (58MB Download):- https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_1LbTxQDmlVYmRkZTE2YjItODUzYS00NDUxLTk0ODUtYTYxYjZiYjk4ZTA5/edit?hl=en 1988 Factory Service Manual (83MB Download):- https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_1LbTxQDmlVYTZiZWE5NzgtZmIzYi00Y2YwLTg5YmYtNjNmNTQwMDVkMTA5/edit?pli=1&hl=en EDIT:- I just came across this On-Line FSM. It's the '85 version (AFAIK, FSMs cover one year only). It's posted as "Hilux Manual - 1985-1994 Toyota Pickup and 4-Runner Gasoline FSM 22R-(E)" http://www.hilux4x4.co.za/manual/
Derek up North
AFAIK, posting a link won't get me into any trouble with Copywrite laws! http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/showthread.php?t=68806

snail powered
You are absolutely wrong about that Derek. If it is an illegal copy of the book have now participated in the unauthorized distribution of the book. That too is a crime.

I'm quite sure mediafire has a huge legal department who makes sure their site isn't breaking the law. They not Derek are the ones who would be liable because it is on their site free for the taking.
