Roy in Jax
Cruise ship in background.I took the Sunrader to the beach for three days. I traveled 50 miles to Huguenot Memorial park. Huguenot is a city park in Jacksonville Florida. The camp is located between St Johns river and Ft George inlet (ocean). Cost is $17 night, no elect. I was able to walk the beach and enjoy the birds and the sand. On the beach side there were plenty of surfers. I did have a friend Chip come visit for a beer or two, he is the one fishing. Sunrader did well I took an Ice box and got six day out of the ice. Once the ice starts to melt, I cover the ice with a car window sun screen that keeps the cool in. My coach battery lasted the three days without a charge 12.5v still on the meter. Used the Led lights at night and watched two hours of TV each day (news) Saturday morning 2am had a bad rain storm that woke everyone up in camp. I felt sorry for the tent campers. I packed up around 9am between showers and made the trip back home. Jacksonville has a lot of bridges and I had to cross three of the largest and five smaller bridges in the rain with drivers driving like there was no tomorrow. Had a great time in the sun, hope to make another trip real soon. Friend Chip fishing.Me having a beer.

kayakthecoast
Nice blog Anthony. I'll be heading to Florida next March to do a 300 mile 6 day kayak sailing race. Everglades challenge. Not sure if I'll be driving the Motorhome though.

That race sounds like a blast, the everglades are beautiful. I drove through them a few months ago when I dove the Keys. Bring bug spray!
