bruce j Posted March 31, 2021 Share Posted March 31, 2021 Hi folks, new member.Can anyone help me findĀ differential parts for my 89 dolphin.End of last summer going up a hill i downshifted to 2 gear the same time trans downshifted,so i ended up i first gear rear tires locked up.After i now have a howl commin somewhere out there in the back,shifts and runs fine other than that.i suspect diff bearing,Also if you know a repair guy in nh would be nice.warming up gotta get it going, TY bruce Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

linda s Posted April 1, 2021 Share Posted April 1, 2021 It's way cheaper to install a used differential than regear your old one. Gear installation requires quite a bit of expertise to adjust properly. I seem to remember a few people here who had problems even when they used a shop to do it.
