Hi folks, new member.Can anyone help me findĀ  differential parts for my 89 dolphin.End of last summer going up a hill i downshifted to 2 gear the same time trans downshifted,so i ended up i first gear rear tires locked up.After i now have a howl commin somewhere out there in the back,shifts and runs fine other than that.i suspect diff bearing,Also if you know a repair guy in nh would be nice.warming up gotta get it going, TY bruce

Hello again,just to let folks know,A toyota dealer ran my vin and rear end parts come up for 4 runner truck. who would of thought?

Now might be a good time to find a rear end with a more useful ratio. Like a 4.56 for a v-6 or a 4.88 for 4 cylinder

It's way cheaper to install a used differential than regear your old one. Gear installation requires quite a bit of expertise to adjust properly. I seem to remember a few people here who had problems even when they used a shop to do it. For the gear ratios WME suggested you would be looking for a diff from a 4x4, 4 runner or truck
