  1. The first time I used Motsenbocker Lift Off was after I removed an aluminum and glass shower enclosure in the house. Walls were ceramic tile and the Motsenbocker removed all the silicone quickly and almost in one long piece. I'll give mineral spirits a go on the front of the cabover. Mineral spirits or naphtha were always my goto cleaners when I was working.
  2. Wow Jim, that is a lot of silicone. Mine is no where that thick and wide. Your picture is why they shouldn't sell silicone to idiots. If a little doesn't stop the leak, put some more on, then some more, then some more, and when that still doesn't stop the leak, blame the silicone. (But put some more on just in case} In my 70 years I've never run across a situation where silicone was the answer to a leak or a good method to seal any thing. What I'm trying to remove is some sort of sealer that looks like it was meant for flat horizontal areas, and was used on the vertical sides and it ran down in long streaks. Of course the person who did it, didn't bother to clean off the areas where it ran down. And now the streaks have yellowed and attracted dirt Also when I started, for some reason I thought the entire coach was covered in aluminum, never really paid any attention to it. So the first parts I used Motsenbocker Lift Off on were the fiberglass sides and it did a good job. Then one morning I decided to clean the cabover front and that's when I realized that Motsenbocker Lift Off made a good paint stripper. I'll still use it on the fiberglass
  3. WARNING - DISREGARD MY RECOMMENDATION OF "EASYOFF" ******* UPDATE 05-13-15 ******** Warning. I had only used this on the sides of my '91 Dolphin. It did not realize that my Dolphin had fiberglass corrugated panels on the sides, and the cabover front was aluminum corrugated panels. The EasyOff stripped the paint off the aluminum. DO NOT USE ON PAINTED ALUMINUM
  4. Wow, it's going to be in the 90s here on the west coast of Florida. looking at the I-80 Web Cams, the snow is amazing to see. I've never driven in snow. I think I would have those marshmallows sitting inside by a fire.
  5. "Plain old mineral spirits works well " I have read that WD-40 works also, but for some unknown reason I've never tried it. Nice thing about the Easy Off is that it is a very thick jell and stays in place, and drys very slowly.

DO NOT USE ON PAINTED ALUMINUM I use this. Put some in a cup or jar and apply with a brush, let sit about 30 min and scrape the caulk off. It has removed silicone and whatever the previous owners smeared all over the windows and siding. I've never used it on fiberglass, but the add says you can. http://goo.gl/koP7Kx

  8. This works well also. It's a gel, put some in a cup and apply with a 1 1/2" brush. Does not run on a horizontal surface. http://www.amazon.com/Motsenbockers-Lift-Off-411-Silicone/dp/B002VGINIW/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1429981991&sr=8-4&keywords=silicone+remover My Dolphin has been the recipient of 25 years of half/a**d silicone repairs. It looks like a, "What not to do to stop leaks" poster. Of course it still leaks . I brush this on and let it sit about 30 min.
  9. Maybe an inline fuse behind the outlet? Check to see if you've burned out a wire or connection.
  10. If you have Amazon Prime, there's this one. http://goo.gl/DQ3Ue1 $10.99
