  1. Hi, I have a Dometic gas and electric refrig, should I be hearing a bubbling sound when it's running. It sounds like water bubbling. Thanks
  2. Try spraying some carb cleaner in it when it's running.
  3. Hi, I have a 1984 Toy Dolphin 4 speed stick with FF rear end and I would like to replace all 3 u-joints in the drive shaft, been looking on line there is so many to pick from so can anyone tell me some good part #'s and a good place to order from. Thank you.
  4. Thanks all, before I retired I worked on semitrucks for 35 years and like a fool I sold all my tools so now I get to rebuy the ones I need. I think I need a 23mm.
  5. What size wrench fits the rear lug nuts on a full floating axle? I need to buy one. Thanks.
  6. You could try a place that repairs semi truck trailers.
  7. That is so cool. I would like to see the inside of it, said it could seat nine.
  8. Hi, I have been reading this post for a few days now , I worked on semi trucks for 35 years (now retired) and have been to two AC schools. I most likely worked on 1500 to 2000 AC systems and as far as AC's go it sounds as if jdemaris knows what he is talking about.
  9. That is a nice saw, I would like one too, who has them for sale?
  10. Try to heat it up with a hair dryer to to get it soft and stretch it back in place.
  11. I think it's called a gas filler tube, but I'm not sure where you can get one.
  12. I have a 1984 Dolphin 4 speed with rear dinette, it has 58,000 miles on it and it's home port is Luxemburg, Wi. I call her (The Fish Tank)
  13. The manual that Linda S posted is the same one my 84 Dolphin came with. I have a rear dinette.
  14. Hi, I have a 84 Dolphin, Lots of info on this site.
  15. WOW! All this over me calling them air bags and yet just one member told me where I could buy some. I can make it easy, I said I would like to put air bags on the rear of my Dolphin so if I was reading that myself I would think suspension. If one thinks of air bags as for a crash then tell me where to find them. If one thinks of air bags as in suspension then tell me where to find them. Now it's simple. I think I'll just play it safe and go with rear helper springs that way every one will know what I'm talking about. Thanks for the help.
  16. I have a 30 lb horizontal tank with a gauge that I think is 12 years old and I just got a new one ($188.00 shipped) I live in Luxemburg, Wi. and if some one would like the old one if in Wi. hit me up, you can have it. Will have to come and pick it up. The tank is in not to bad of shape I just wanted a new one.
  17. Thank You Jdemaris, I'll check in to them. I was looking all over and just could not see any for a 84. I know what you mean by calling them air bags, some say air springs. I worked on semi trucks for 32 years and we called them air bags but some part houses called them springs.
  18. I have a 84 Dolphin and would like to install rear air bags on it. (Has no bags on it now) Anyone know where I can buy a kit to fit, every air bag kit I see starts with year 1986. Will a 86 kit fit a 84? Thanks.

    Thinking Solar

Thank you Jdemaris, I was hoping that I didn't have to, now can the controler be ten feet from the battery? I was reading that the closer the better but where I would like to have it is 10 feet away.
  20. I'm thinking about installing solar, if so do I need to shut the solar down when I'm driving or when plugged in to shore power? If it needs to be shut off, how do I do it? Where should I mount the controller on a 1984 Dolphin, The battery is under the hood. Thanks
