  1. I was thinking more of the compactness of a modern 40x digital camera. Of course even they're becoming obsolete (and an attention getter) as everyone seems to use nothing but their phone or 'pad these days. http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/canon-canon-powershot-sx410-20-0mp-40x-optical-zoom-digital-camera-black-0107c001/10362703.aspx
  2. 1978 no longer offered with the rear door. https://springfield.craigslist.org/rvs/5629513441.html Model 300, no length listed in brochure. 1978 Dolphin Micro Mini-1.pdf I suspect the 14' length would be just the camper, including the bunk.
  3. Well, the Goodyears will give ~5000lb of lift at max psi, the air shocks ~1000lb. The math (to me) is that if I had (or planned to get) air springs installed, I wouldn't bother with the shocks.
  4. Some people just don't like to be disturbed and photographed. Probably don't like the idea of having their picture and license plate posted on the internet without permission.
  5. Ah, I'd forgotten that you had both air springs and air shocks installed. Do you find adjusting the air shock's pressure makes much difference given that they only offer limited lift compared to the air springs?
  6. Rules is rules (at least in this thread). Without a video, it didn't happen.
  7. Not if it doesn't fit. 2 door sounds big to me.
  8. " 5.2.6.6 Doors or panels providing access to valves shall not be equipped with locks or require special tools to open." http://hamyarenergy.com/static/fckimages/files/NFPA/Hamyar Energy NFPA 1192 - 2005.pdf
  9. " Yes there is a RVIA regulation governing accessibility to LP storage valving that states the shutoff valve must be accessible at all times. That is also the position of the National Fire Association and USDOT. " http://www.rvnetwork.com/index.php?showtopic=115007 Still from the net, but sounds plausible.
  10. It seems I read that it's actually illegal to have the propane locked. But since I probably read it on the 'net, it could be incorrect.
  11. I don't have one of your vintage, but I'd expect the first notch to be panel and running lights, second notch adding headlights with a separate dimmer switch. Is Toyota different? At least from your pictures, it doesn't look like your wiring has been butchered, as so often happens.
  12. Might I suggest you leave an open box of Arm &Hammer in there too.
  13. What book is that? The only thing I've seen is the Toyota FSM and Owners Manual and the say 60k miles (96k km) for a (V6) timing belt. But you've an '86, don't you? No timing belt on the 22R-E.
  14. You might have liked the old tire's ride because they were passenger car tires (designated by the 'P'). The 195R14 8-ply (Load Rand D) will most likely NOT give the same comfort with stiffer side walls. And you also don't need the extra load carrying capacity.
  15. Most times timing chain noise is described as a 'rattle'. Noises are hard to describe. Thank goodness for YouTube.
  16. And the leak you slimed was at the top plate? Near where the air hose enters? Or the opposite side? It seems to me that slime is a liquid and not a vapour so when it enters the air spring it'll pretty much obey the Laws of Gravity and flow pretty much straight down. Unless you hope capillary action will get it to flow horizontally or upwards. I won't ask for an 8 hour video with full details of elevation and ambient temperatures. : Yes, I'm well versed in pneumatics, hydraulics and properties of most fluids, though I'll admit to never playing with magical 'Slime'.
