  1. I have an 84 Dolphin with a 21" wide by 17" high stainless steel Wedgewood stove/oven. The model # is T2130. Mine is in good shape, so I guess I'll keep it. Nice to know that a replacement is no problem. Happy camping!
  2. I ordered the complete newer version that replaced the older style, through my local RV services. Bargman #70-32-001, Chrome. Cost $32.95 plus tax, $35.75 total. Got it installed, yesterday. Fit perfectly. Thanx for the info.
  3. I had a 79 coleman pop up tent trailer that had a dandy portable ice box. It had a compartment in the top for a block of ice. On the bottom of the ice compartment was a spigit that you could use to get the ice water out with. Kept groceries cold a long time.
  4. I've owned a 84 Dolphin with 22r engine and 4 spd stick for 6 yrs. I'm happy with it and it gets good mileage (15-17 mpg) for a unit with 110k miles on it. I always treat the gas with Seafoam before storage to keep the carb working well. Never has let me down on trips. Just can't be in a big hurry.
  5. Not completely sure. When I'm plugged in to AC, am I charging both my house battery and my truck battery? Also, is leaving your Toy plugged in, for a few days, hard on your batteries? Does it work like a battery tender and not over charge? Thanx for your help. Love my Toy! Tudy
  6. Just love my 22r w/5spd in my 84 Dolphin. Bullet-proof engine with excellent mpgs. If it wasn't for this Toy, I wouldn't be RVing. Also, lotsa fun to work on, bringing her up to date. Working on the upholstery this year, among other things. One of these days I'm gonna post a pic of "Cricket". Tudy
  7. Good idea! My 84 Dolphin w/5 spd had a consol tray that fit around the shift. Room for kleenex box, coin holders, pen/tire pressure, ect. bin, and 2 cup holders. I believe it was aftermarket, but fit perfectly. I needed an armrest, so I put my "leggo levelers" tote in between the seatbelts, with a soft towel folded over. Makes comfy armrest.
  8. The coach battery doesn't drain the truck battery. That is because of the isolater, I believe. Could it be that your idle speed is too low to chg up the battery? I don't understand the mechanix real well. Just trying to help. I was wondering, if you plug in coach, if it charges truck battety as well as coaches? Hopefully, soon you will get a knowledgeable answer from the pros here. Tudy
  9. Do you ever think about spending winter in warmer climes? I'd be AZ bound, in heartbeat!
  10. Nice looking Toy! Rear Dinette & 22RE engine? You must be thrilled!
  11. I usually get 15-17 mpg out of my 22R w/stick shift, traveling 55 mph, on a good day. If we're bucking winds, considerably less. When I travel long distance, if there is a bad headwind, I camp for a while. Tailwinds are, of course, a real mpg booster! It, also, helps to be retired and in no hurry.
  12. So that means that non oxygenated gasoline gives you more power and better mileage??? I've really noticed the difference in mpgs, with winter gas (more ethanol).
  13. I have a 84 Dolphin and have always been afraid to walk on the roof. The roof looks fine, but I thought it would be a good idea to remove and reseal vents, seams and windows, some day. I weigh less than 150#, but not sure of my roof's strength.
  14. Would soldering the "adapter" to the switch be reasonably easy for a beginner to do? I'm sure that I can solder. Just not sure about the rest. Maybe some pics? I have leds in my new car and fridge and like em. Sure would help cut back on battery use, when boondocking.
  15. Congratulations on your new Toy. About your batwing. I installed a new wingard batwing antenna on my 84 Dolphin with booster. I get more channels on my new digital ready 19in tv, than I get on my basic cable at home. Excellent reception. Of course, it all depends on your location. Sometimes I camp where there is no cell reception, unless you climb the highest river bluffs & call. Now that's campin!
  16. I just cleaned my wheels up and painted them silver metallic. Looks great and easy to keep clean.
  17. What about an 84 Dolphin? Has anybody had any experience replacing the floors in them?
  18. I got 6 Hankook 8ply load D for under $500 installed @ Wholesale Tire in Morristown, Mn. They make a world of difference! I got a good set of tire covers to keep them in good shape.

    New Addition

Puppies are so cute! Too bad they grow up to be dogs....
  20. Are my eyes going bad or was the interior in that Odyssey pink and tan? Tudy 84 Dolphin (Cricket)
  21. I had all six replaced with Hankooks. Very good tire at a reasonable price @ Tires Plus. Tudy 84 Dolphin "Cricket"
  22. The third and fourth posts on this thread have pics. Two on third and click on "katz" on the fourth. Cute pics! Tudy 84 Dolphin
  23. I did a search on " synthetic oil". Seems like most, here, think that it isn't a good idea to use a synthetic oil in an older engine. It will just "blow by" and be wasted. Just use a good quality petro oil. Maybe, someone else will comment......? Tudy 84 Dolphin "Cricket"
