  1. Thanks Derek. Would this 20 amp fuse supply juice to other systems?
  2. I. own a 1991 mini Winnie. My wipers and the water washer stopped working. I suspect a blown fuse, but question if both the spray motor and the wiper motor are on the same fuse. If they are how is the fuse identified in the fuse box under the hood? I can sure use some sage advice.
  3. I've simce found the isolator isn't passing the alternater current to the coach side. I replaced it and that problem is resolved. After camping in Yosemite last week (tons of bear) after 4 days I tested the furnace and it wouldn't work. I started the truck engine and walla it came on. A simple act for you folks but a new lesson for me. Again I thank you for your help.
  4. My goodness you both are a wealth of information. You ought to start your own sales yard for toy motorhomes. Oh yea they don't make them anymore. I cleaned the contacts on the panel and that seems to have helped greatly. Now my black tank goes to full read at 8 gallons while my grey reads full at 6 gallons. There are no "pots" to adjust on the panel that i can see ( I removed the panel and examined it). I continued to add water and the black took 14 gallons, but the grey was overflowing into the shower tub at 8 gallons as I put water in at the sink. Any thoughts on this?
  5. My problem is now determining what the actual levels are in my holding tanks. For example when my black water tank has 1 gallon of fill it reads full (top bar) on my meter panal. When drained it reads zero. If my tank holds 14 gallons is there an adjustment? My grey tank is similarly inaccurate. Appreciate comments.
  6. The Kragens purchase is a solid state isolator with fins. It takes up twice the space of its predecessor. I think I'll install an inside the coach voltmeter to monitor the coach battery.
  7. I also have some bulging on the rear on my winnie below the window. I called Winnebego and they said if the M.H. no longer leaks it is probably good to go. It is just a tad unsightly. But Derek brought up an interesting thought about putting glue through a drilled hole. What type of glue and what method might be used to press the siding in?
  8. The roof coating is white siliconized coating. I think I'm OK there. It states it has a 10 year wear. I'm told to apply 2 applications. Are there any precautions or just clean and roll?
  9. Well, 6 fixes down many to go. My next project is to fix a leaking roof. I replaced the foam gasket between the airconditioner and the roof. It still leaks water. A. How tight should the nuts be bolted down on the gasket? B. Any suggestions as to applying roof sealent? I bought 2 gallons of "Black Jack" ultra roofing 1000 elastomeric coating. Am I good so far? Now what?
  10. I suppose I'm one of those pipsqueeks of 5'9". Even so since drivi8ng my Warrior I have an interesting array of red lumps on the top of my head which weren't there before. My suggestion is that you find another good deal and have one for each foot.
  11. mmmmmboy another consideration. 20 bucks you say? The one I installed is also designed for a diesel big rig capable of passing 60 amps. I need an asperin.
  12. Thanks Derek. I measured 14 volts going into the isolator from both the alternater and the truck battery , and with the coach terminal removed from it I measured 0 volts of the coach side of the isolator. I went to Kragens and bought a 4 post solid state isolator ($32) which gave me 13 volts on the coach side. I think it works even with the 1 volt drop through the isolator.
  13. Back again! Now my project is solving the problem of why my coach battery won't charge from the alternater. Shore power I measure 13.7 volts into the battery. Engine power I measure 12.2 volts. I read in the elctrical forum that it's most likely the isolator. How can I tell and where is it at? I have a 91 Winnie.
  14. I put a charger on the coach battery and lo and behold my furnace came on PTL!
