  1. Print these out asap. They might not be there for long. Not seabreeze but any 86 will do http://kpr.en.craigslist.org/rvs/3756481162.html http://albuquerque.en.craigslist.org/rvs/3810791635.html http://staugustine.craigslist.org/rvs/3795062032.html http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/rvs/3842803707.html http://boise.craigslist.org/rvs/3842128670.html Probably should have started doing this right from the start but this shows what they sell for. many I found were already gone cause they sell that fast. Linda S
  2. Ya know this has been bothering me. I don't think your "friend" was welding your RV out there on the street. Seems to me he had time after he knew something was wrong to jump in and move it to that location instead of pulling out his fire extinguishers, which he is required to have several, and trying to put it out. Maybe you should rethink this friend thing. Linda S
  3. I love a good buffet. Linda S
  4. Resend what Darrel I posted the info on the site. Gap in my manual is .030 Plugs listed are champion RJ-8 or RJ-17lm I don't live in Washington. I'm in San Jose Ca Linda
  5. My generator manual is for a 2.5CM-RV so I don't know if it's the same but Gap in my manual is .030 Plugs listed are champion RJ-8 or RJ-17lm Linda S Just checked and they used the same Tecumseh 140 engine and I have the manual for that too. yes park plug gap should be correct
  6. Here is a very good explaination of the 2 types of insurance a garage must have. Garage liability insurance and Garage keepers insurance. The garage keepers is what insures your vehicle while it's in the garage http://www.dealers-insurance.com/garageliabilitygaragekeepers.php If you look at this read this part. it says that the term auto is very loosely held as any land vehicle "Auto" is defined as a land motor vehicle, trailer or semitrailer. Unlike the CGL and Business Auto Coverage forms, the definition does not mention that the auto has to be designed for use on public roads, nor does it make reference to "mobile equipment This means everything but boats and planes. All land motor vehicles The only way RV's and buses could be excluded is if he specifically asked for them to be excluded and I'm betting he did no such thing. Print out the whole page here and take it to your insurance agent and ask to see the exclusion on his policy. If he says it's excluded because it only says auto show him the page. Something just isn't right here. Your insurance company has a lawyer. Ask to have all the info sent to him for review Linda S After much looking I can find no examples of Rv's and buses being excluded from garage keepers ins. You need to see this policy yourself and have them show you where it says that. I don't believe it
  7. Found another site that was talking about the same issue and they seemed to think the old felt was the problem. Here's some. Don't know if it's the right size but the only one for rv windows I could find http://www.all-rite.com/window-pile-p-862.html Linda S
  8. No electric in the coach when not plugged in except for the 12 volt plugs in the dash and the back. No crockpots no hairdryers. Only 12 volt lights and anything that can be plugged into that kind of outlet. Small converter can only handle small things like a laptop. Look at your laptops converter box. It will tell you the watts. Mine is 65wt so 75wt converter is just enough. If you try to run the fridge on 12 volt your coach battery will die in less than a day. Run it on propane. A good coach battery should be fine for 2 days. if it runs low start the engine and let it idle for a while. Linda S
  9. Call one of those judge shows on TV. They might want you to file in small claims first but they will love the pics and want you on the show. They pay out the claim so it won't cost your friend anything and you will get free trip to New York or California depending on the show. It will limit your claim to the pennsylvania small claims limit though but just checked Pa limit is 12 grand. Linda S
  10. I'm a moderator and I coudn't figure out how to do it. Waiter Are you out there. I know you can figure it out. Well I guess you don't have to worry about me over-moderating. Linda S
  11. Well it's still a Toyota. many of these coaches are pretty much the same. They used all the same appliances inside and most were built out of wood with fiberglass or aluminum siding. It's all about condition. You need to search carefully for water damage and it needs to have a full float axle in the rear. Easy to spot has a hub sticking out of the middle and 6 lug nuts in the rear. Travel master is not one of the more common ones but it doesn't mean it might not be a great little motorhome Linda S
  12. Wow that sounds like a deal. Mine is LCD but so old I have to use one of those converters to watch TV. Analog, digital, I don't know which is which. Think I'm going to walmart Linda S
  13. I'm reading every post and watching every video. I don't know what to say though. How many times can I say wow what an awesome Would be nice though if the title included 22re rebuild video's. That way people could find it for reference for years Linda S
  14. T100 long bed would fit the bill but I have seen many toyota motorhomes that were going to pennies cause of water damage in the coach. If I see one I'll send it to you if it's pretty close. Linda s
  15. It must be a deep cycle. I buy mine at Walmart. Linda S
  16. Mine is a group 24. The 27 is just more weight than I want to pick up and on mine there is no axcess to check the water unless you bring it out. If you can get to it and move it OK a 27 have charge for longer. Just go and pick them up to decide Linda S
  17. I think it did very well. Cab where driver sits is still intact and rear coach looks pretty darn good. Have you ever seen a Previa test. The entire driver section disappears. They were one of the worst rated vehicles ever right up there with a VW bus. Linda S
  18. Petsmart and Petco both sell dog ramps. Kind of pricey but you could get ideas to build yours. This one folds up like a suitcase and is one of the better priced ones. Also some cheaper ones on Ebay http://www.petco.com/product/112343/Pet-Gear-Travel-Lite-Tri-Fold-Pet-Ramp.aspx?CoreCat=OnSiteSearch Linda S
  19. It's time for a lawyer. I'm thinking the insurance company can't exclude any vehicles he's working on. Only a lawyer can take care of it now. They don't charge for this kind of case until you get paid and they add their bill the the claim. Shouldn't cost you anything Linda S
  20. Yeah they make little splitter plugs so you have more than one 12 volt outlet in the back. They sell them at auto parts store but you might need an extension too to get the fan to the front. Lots on ebay Linda S
  21. My Nissan Sunrader's floor was pretty nasty. Had been abandoned in a field in New York for 2 years with broken vents and leaking windows. Previous owner had put down 3/4 inch plywood and it was wet underneath when I pulled it up. I rehardened the floor with resin and hardener the same way they save the wood on old houses on "This Old House" on PBS. Put steel braces underneath to ad some support and then scewed down 1/4 inch luan. It's quite firm now. I didn't pull out cabinets or anything major. Sometimes simple is the way to go.
  22. Here's ac shrouds on ebay. Pretty sure one of them will fit. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=&_qfkw=1&_mqf=0&_osacat=50067&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1311.R-1.TR3.TRC1&_nkw=air+conditioner+shroud&_sacat=50067&_from=R40 I attached the cement pan shroud thing I made with screws, Found places to attach that wouldn't hurt anything.. tried to post a pic but can't do it right now Linda S
  23. It's a Sunrader shorty with the good axle. One near me with similar mileage just sold for 6500 bucks. Redoing the interior is not as hard as it sounds. If you have some skills it would be a great project especially if money was tight. Linda S
  24. What floor plan was it. if it was the little one someone might be interested in it for the shell alone Linda S
