No Dolphin siding can not be replaced. No one makes mesa pattern siding in fiberglass anymore and the last of it was sold off long ago. Only solution would be to find a motorhome in a junk yard. There is aluminum mesa pattern but heavier and larger wave pattern Linda S

I don't think the craigslist ad is a scam. It was for sale last year in the same place but he wants top dollar and I just don't think he got his price. The other ebay guy is bad news though. Linda S

Some of these are on Toyota chassis but I have never seen one on a Ford ranger chassis. Might be a conversion but an appropriate one for sure. Linda S

That unit is on craigslist and I'm sure just like his other listings Mysteriouscase does not have permission from the owner to list it. He lists on ebay and tries to get a bid high enough so he can buy the rig from the real owner and make a profit. Pretty shady guy.I have informed several of the real owners and someof them were pretty mad. He has been reported to Ebay dozens of times but they do nothing Linda S Think it's listed in lexington Ky but not sure

The 17 gallon tank is 33 inches long but that includes the lip and that is up a ways so you probably didn't include it in the measurement. You got the right one, I'm sure Linda S

Troubleshooting my clogged kitchen sink in '84 Dolphin
linda s replied to annie h's topic in General Discussion
Shower and kitchen sink might have separate roof vents. Mine do. Get on roof and look at placement compared to location of shower and sink. Linda S -
Try this place Capitol Import Auto Dismantling (916) 366-7470 4071 Happy Ln,Sacramento,CA95827 Wheel Stock number CI0729 This is supposedly for an 88 but they say it has 6 hand holds so really an 86. Might be an old listing but can't hurt to call. If they don't have it I'm pretty sure I can find some 3 hand holes near me in San Jose You do realize you can drive a pretty long way with only one tire in the back when you get a flat. I've never worried about a spare for the duallies. Always carry a 12 volt air compressor and if I get a flat, inflate remaining good tire to max and drive slowly to nearest place to have fixed. I have had 2 flats in 10 years and never because of the tire. Sunrader had rubber valves on the tires instead of metal and the valves failed each time. Metal is a must for a tire with a max pressure of 65 lbs Linda S

According to the 1986 toyota truck brochure they didn't offer a 14.5 gallon tank in 1986. Only 13.7 on the bitty trucks, 19.3 on some of the 4x4's and 17.2 on the rest. Unless it's been switched it has to be one of those. Linda S

But for a 1986 Sunrader. The 3 or 6 hand holes tell if it's got the 86 wheels. They are all 6 lug, at least the good ones, but there are some differences in the holes the lugs go through and even though I've never had to try a 3 hand hole wheel on mine some on the toyota camper site have and they did not fit properly. My mechanic burned my RV to the ground today

You are welcome. I will be praying this all works out the best for you. Linda S -
Generators were always an option, not standard. The brochure states that it would have been a 2500wt gen set so that would have made it a Kohler generator and they are no longer made. An Onan Microlite 2800 or 2500 camp power should fit in the space if it has alreay been prepared for a gen set. Generator prep set up was also an option. There might be some manuals on the toyota-camper site on yahoo in the files section but you can look at the brochures on Winnebago's site http://www.winnebagoind.com/products/previous-models/1990/pdfs/winnebago/90-Warrior-bro.pdf Linda S

The Toyota cab and chassis that your motorhomes are built on only came with a 17.2 gallon tank from Toyota. It was the only option. The Winnebago brochure also states the gas tank is 17.2 gallons and just checked so does the 93 Dolphin brochure. The Winnebago brochures are available onlne, just google it, and the Dolphin ones are in the toyota-camper site files If your tank is smaller someone just wanted to save some money buy replacing it with the cheapest available Linda S

Troubleshooting my clogged kitchen sink in '84 Dolphin
linda s replied to annie h's topic in General Discussion
Try one of these. Available at home depot and many other hardware stores. Do it with the u section off so you can see if anything comes out of the sink and then you can get farther into the drain to tank section. Plastic so it won;t hurt your plastic pipes. I always keep them handy. Of course I have to ask.Is your waste tank empty. If it's full the water has no where else to go. Another possible problem is the waste vent on the roof is clogged. Look for pipe on roof above the sink location On a sealed water system for water to get out air must come in. Is the cap on up there. If not stuff could fall into it and clog the system. http://www.amazon.com/Cobra-Products-00412BL-Zip-It-Cleaning/dp/B000BO9204 Linda S -
The specs are correct for a d load range tire. The C in your size just denotes commercial. As to the quality they are knid of too new a company to know for sure, only 6 years old. That said since they are sold by Les Schwab who offers a very high warranty on their tires I would assume a company that big would test their construction before they started selling them. Of course I can't be sure of that but I think your fine. Linda S
