  1. Gave it to You? It looks like a real gem. Linda S
  2. Yes it's a California thing. We pay a million dollars for a fixer upper house too. And we're all that rich, LOL. Linda S
  3. OK I understand back pain. Try Calderon Tires. Local old time discount tire store almost famous in San Jose. They have the Hankook RA18 listed. https://www.calderontireswheels.com/shop-for-tires/view/brand/b/29.aspx Linda S
  4. In the time you could have already gotten the tires at Tires Easy, offices in Benicia so local to you. They don't supply tires from their offices but they have many local warehouses they ship from. Then gone to Tire Merchants in North San Jose, local, and gotten them installed for an extremely reasonable price by very experienced installers. They actually did my install not just valves. I'm old I forget stuff. This old lady had no problem slinging a few tires in the back of her Sunrader and taking them there. Save a bunch of money and have the work done by experienced people instead of the 18 year olds working at most tire stores. Sounds like a win win to me Linda S
  5. Well he did do a lot of work and seemed to be pretty good at it. Hope he gets his price. Interesting guy, we'll miss him Linda S
  6. Yes it's definitely the 5 lug rear axle that was recalled. It can fail without warning and cause major camper damage and possibly an accident. No way to tell you if the tires are good or not. There is a date on them. Older than 6 years is considered too old. Here's some information to show you how to find that number https://www.tirebuyer.com/education/how-to-determine-the-age-of-your-tires Linda S
  7. Original from 1982 should probably be replaced. He's in Canada too so freezing can cause little cracks in the rubber to be big cracks. Linda S
  8. The glazing beads only help the window to stay in place. The glass isn't going to fall out. It's sealed to the frame of the window with something like windshield sealant or butyl glass sealant. Glazing beads are just extra support so the flexing of the camper when driving doesn't break that first, more important seal. I have replaced glazing bead on a few campers. Never had a problem from removing it temporarily. Linda S
  9. Well I looked at pick and pull and ran the vin for a 1991 4Runner they have at the Antelope store. Correct part number for your vehicle came up as the one on that truck. Of course I don't know if it is still on the truck. The only vehicle Toyota imported to this country that could have possibly used this part in 1986 is a Supra. No trucks had a V6 yet with an A340E trannie. Linda S
  10. It's an easy fix. Once you see it I'm sure you can handle it. Just adjusting all the way to high didn't do much for me. I know a few people who just left it disconnected from the adjuster and lifted it as far as it would go. Floor of camper or frame not sure. I still need to lift mine more Linda S
  11. Just noticed your link says they only have 1 tire. I tried to up the number and it won't Linda S
  12. This stuff looks good. Virtually made for refrigerators and inexpensive https://www.amazon.com/Clear-Food-Grade-Silicone-Sealant/dp/B0063U2RWU Linda S
  13. Not exactly off brand, just not well known in America Madras Rubber Factory, was created in 1946, and is a multi-national company and the largest manufacturer of tyres currently in India. The company is advanced in terms of technology with its world-class facilities. For the 12th time in the last 16 years, it has been ranked as India’s No 1 tyre manufacturer in the customer satisfaction in the J D Power Asia Pacific 2016 India Original Tyre Satisfaction Study for Passenger cars for SUVs and Passenger cars. Linda S
  14. What brand did you find for 50 bucks. I have Goform tires on my rig and they were pretty cheap, $60. I have had no problems with them and they are all season. Really grip the road. Linda S
  15. Nope. The only thing I only think of is they must have made some changes when upgrading the rear axle. Linda S
  16. Costco does not have the correct size tires. Buying from a shop you will pay far more than the online prices too. I had all new valve stems installed at Tire Merchants on N 13th street in San Jose . Of course it required removing and remounting all the tires. They charged me some crazy low price like 10 bucks each. Maybe 12. Super nice guys. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again but I would always bring my tires with me. Linda S
  17. You can go by Toyota or you can go by eBay. I choose Toyota https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~sensor~speed~89411-22061.html?Make=Toyota&Model=Cressida&Year=1991&Submodel=&Filter=()&Location=overdrive-electronic-controlled-transmission,,89411C Or you can get one off of a Supra https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~sensor~speed~89411-22061.html?Make=Toyota&Model=Supra&Year=1992&Submodel=&Filter=(d=USA;1=7MGE;3=LB;5=ATM;6=4FC;7=TWC;0=MA70L-BLPVFA Doesn't really matter Dave doesn't believe Toyota anyway Linda S
  18. Someone else just joined with an Oakanagan. I'll try to find them. Think there are other members around Calgary. Maybe someone can help. RV parts places will often give you the basics if you ask for help. Linda S
  19. I have heard good things about both the Thunderer and the Ecovan. Linda S
  20. Wal-Mart installed new wheel balancing machines in lots of stores that can't do our dually wheels. Best to call first Linda S
  21. Many Wal-Mart's will not mount dually tires. Linda S
  22. Reasonably priced tires all with free shipping. https://www.tires-easy.com/tires/185-Blank-14 Linda S
