  1. I'm coming up with 18 gallon fresh and each 14 gallons for the grey tank and the black tank. Winnebago still has information on your rig online at Winnebago archives. Linda S
  2. If you have the 6 hand hole wheels metal stems won't allow you to attach extenders to the rear wheels. I ended up switching them all back to the flexible ones. Yes there are high pressure rubber valve stems and that's what was on them when they came from the factory. I know because I still have the inside valve stem extender that also came from the factory. I ended up putting the extenders I bought on my Nissan. Goodyear in Los Gatos did the switch for me and they were quite reasonable as I remember and very knowledgeable about using the right ones. You already have them, keep them. They are fine. Tire Merchants were great but they did what I told them and I'd been convinced that metal was the way to go from the comments here. Great on 3 hand hole but just don't work on the 6 Linda S Just in case anyone doesn't believe me that the 86"s at least came with a valve extender look at the dates this was used and yes it says 4runner but that's my vin. Toyota called them 4 runners https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~extension~valve~90942-05014.html?Vin=JT5RN55T6G7004740&Filter=()&Location=disc-wheel-wheel-cap,,42611H
  3. I like the good condition used ones. Yeah they cost a ton. Keep an eye on craigslist for one or maybe even post your own fridge wanted ad. Winters can destroy a leaky camper and maybe someone has one they are ready to send to the junkyard. Fridge might still be fine. Van campers and some pop top tent campers have the right size. Linda S Hey look what I found. He has a few but make sure you test them https://maine.craigslist.org/rvs/d/lp-gas-fridge/6662114778.html
  4. The product we most often recommend for cleaning RV's before we use Zep is Bar keepers friend. Looks like Dutch cleanser or white Comet but very fine and will not scratch the surface. It might help get that other stuff off a little easier. Just rinse well when done https://www.target.com/p/bar-keepers-friend-multipurpose-household-cleanser-polish-21-oz/-/A-13304297?sid=1421S&ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA_Other_All Products+Shopping_Local&adgroup=All Products_Catchall&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=g&device=c&location=9032371&gclid=Cj0KCQjwtb_bBRCFARIsAO5fVvGSSN0xm26ve_CamJnMYE58SnMVI82nh7Z1fsSSHXI-ntbB7PQU1doaAtuHEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds Linda S
  5. Don't know what floor plan you have but somewhere down near the floor there is a metal square with vents that kind of looks like heater. There's a little tab you turn that lets you open it. Something like this but not exactly https://www.ebay.com/itm/PROGRESSIVE-DYNAMICS-35-AMP-AC-DC-DISTRIBUTION-PANEL-POWER-CONVERTER-PD4135/163151686846?epid=1662861065&hash=item25fc992cbe%3Ag%3AwkcAAOSwpIdW8Z0z&_pgn=2&_sacat=50067&_nkw=converter&_from=R40&rt=nc&LH_TitleDesc=0|0 Linda S
  6. Yeah I see what you mean about those reviews. I have never heard someone say bad stuff about PPL but their prices aren't the lowest either. Have you tried your local RV places. Can't hurt to ask. Just ask for a price and tell them your shopping around for the best offer. Some places will try to meet your needs and it's always better to buy local in case of problems. Other than that let you fingers do the walking online but always get a shipping estimate. I see some at around 120 to Flagstaff and others a similar distance away wanting 250. Linda S
  7. Hmm I have the same one too. The red knobs at the top are the ones you push down to light the pilot if anyone wants to know. My manual shows a part number for the drain valve and the schematic shows it separately. I always thought it came out somehow. As far as who made it. Unitrol is the name of the main control on Mor-flo/ American water heaters which became Suburban. Many but not all parts will fit the older ones Linda S
  8. The valve that looks obviously wet is the drain valve. They come in several sizes so make sure you get the right one. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Camco-Water-Heater-Drain-Valve/46529810?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222227034058182&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=88147303488&wl4=aud-273067695102:pla-122345772048&wl5=9032371&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=117019096&wl11=online&wl12=46529810&wl13=&veh=sem Be good to get it off and flush out your water heater anyway. Do you use it? The other one with the handle is the pressure relief valve. https://www.amazon.com/10473-Temperature-Pressure-Relief-Epoxy-Coated/dp/B000BQSINO/ref=asc_df_B000BQSINO/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167157107032&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6685399006873288612&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032371&hvtargid=pla-274433036111&psc=1 Your water heater is pre Suburban but the parts are compatible. Suburban bought the company that made yours. No electronic ignition in your original equipment. I never leave my water pump on. All your leaks are the reason why. Maybe if I replumbed the whole camper but those old pipes can crack or break at any time and I'd rather deal with a little water instead of a flood. Easy to just turn it on when you need it. Hard to give you ideas of how to get to the leaks without seeing your layout. Unfortunately some fixes require cutting open or removing cabinets to get to them. Hope yours is easier but show us Linda S
  9. The ones in the link I posted are about it. Heng's is your choice. Linda S
  10. Camco says the 9 inch can be trimmed down to 7 so kind of makes sense that the 12 inch can be trimmed down to 10. If not these are 9 13/16 inches high. Have some scratches but they are cheap. Plastic polish would clean it up https://www.ebay.com/itm/Forest-River-10-10453A-Plexiglass-RV-Screen-Door-Slide-with-Bumper-/113190751865?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c10#viTabs_0 Linda S
  11. The larger size makes it an escape hatch. The handle is easy. Just a crank handle with a set screw to hold it in place. You might be able to find one at a hardware store that fits. http://tweetys.com/vent-crank-replacement.aspx?gclid=Cj0KCQjwzK_bBRDDARIsAFQF7zOycQhWKdbNzkH56ht4qaolZC4f-jVGN_21h0vIaMTdEw_KFIZSeBMaAiiGEALw_wcB The vent is a little trickier if you need parts and yours looks like it's not fitted right. lift mechanism looks like it's attached to screen which is loose. I would replace the whole thing. Important size when purchasing is the cut out size because you want it to fit the hole. https://www.rvpartscenter.com/shop-by-categories/list2/vents-roof-supplies/rv-roof-vents-trim/rv-escape-hatch-exit-vent Not sure but I think that hole in the side is where a quick release goes. Locks the screen section for driving but flips and releases it so you can get out in an emergency. Kind of like this but different Linda S
  12. She's reattaching wallpaper. If it stripped down to raw exposed polystyrene it's going to take a lot more than glue to get a smooth surface. Yes foam board and foam cushions are very different. I still wouldn't want to use Gorilla Glue because it swells as it dries. Linda S
  13. The backing on headliner is foam. Haven't had any melt yet and I've done 1 RV and several cars. Also done a few auto seats and I spray glue foam to build up the seat and then carve the shape needed. My girlfriends Roadtrek seats still look perfect and I did them a couple of years ago. Linda S Oh and the RV headliner was on a Provan. Foam to wood application. Worked perfect
  14. Spray glue like the stuff used on auto headliner. Instant fix and will last. I like to spray both sides I'm going to attach, let it dry slightly and roll into place. https://www.amazon.com/3M-77-Multipurpose-Adhesive-Aerosol/dp/B0000AZ735/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1533689275&sr=8-2&keywords=3m+77+spray+adhesive&dpID=41blaAhHwJL&preST=_SX342_QL70_&dpSrc=srch Rollers like this work great. Make sure it's not too soft. See this one says high density https://www.zoro.com/premier-mini-paint-roller-frame-4-in-cageless-53841/i/G5361203/ Linda S
  15. I'm familiar with your Federal tires. Good tires from what I've heard. Now it's just a matter of finding out what axle you have to know what to do next. So did you get the Keystone just cause it's old and cool? Linda S
  16. Well I assume you know the problems with the 5 lug dually. Without spending a ton of money to replace it with a 6 lug your only alternative is to switch to single wheels in the back. Be good to weigh your rig but with one wheel in the back I would inflate the tire close to the max say 60 to 65 lbs. If you don't want to get rid of the dually at least make sure your inside tire is always 5 to 10 lbs more tire pressure than the outside one to take the stress off of the bearings. Say 60 inside and 50 to 55 outside. For the front 50 to 55 is good. Linda S
  17. You can try this place. They still have one listed on car-part. Rolla Auto Salvage & Sales, Inc. USA-MO(Rolla) 800-445-0254 / 573-364-4414 Your lighter weight rig would probably be fine if you just switched to single wheels in the back. Then you could also upgrade to larger 15 inch wheels and tires and it would look cool too. Probably cost less than the axle and wheels for that too Linda S
  18. Oh and your computer needs to be reset after you install it. Just remove the battery cables for a while and then hook up and let it get the new readings from the new sensor. The old broken one confused it Linda S
  19. Well he is getting his speed sensor so we will all find out in a couple of days. Linda S I'm not that mean
  20. My Nissan Sunrader was so dirty I thought the cushions were brown. Surprise, washed them in the big washing machine at the laundromat. Took 3 washes for the water to look clear. They came out beautiful and they are blue. I dried them in the dryer but took them out when still damp and laid them out to finish drying. Came out gorgeous. Linda S
  21. Well curiosity killed the cat and it's surly going to kill me too. I got that speed sensor out of that darn 4Runner. Identical in every way to the one Dave posted. Part numbers don't lie. Now what. I'm not letting someone have it who is convinced it won't work. I got freaking dirty for this. Linda S
  22. It probably came with an extra solid piece that you put on the lip in the back section to widen the table shelf. Then you take your back cushions and fill in the space on the bed. Piece of plywood would work. Table towards the outer edge would lock it in place. Might still be there somewhere but you just didn't know that was what it was for Linda S
  23. What brand and size of tire. How old are they. Single wheels in back or duallies and 5 lug or 6 in the rear. Need to have more info Linda S
  24. linda s

    LP tank idea

Bottom of tank looks like it's exposed to road. You currently have ASME tank. Manufactured to higher standards. DOT tanks are supposed to be protected at least in some way Linda S
