  1. You make it sound like 50 lbs pressure in your airbags is a lot. I always run mine at 60 and my Sunrader is a little one. Can't imagine driving a full sized one at any less. Linda S
  2. Rear dinette? Hole is from the table mount. Yes gray tank looks missing. Close look at inside of driver's side rear tire doesn't look like a dually. Its flat not deep. That would be the bad axle. Just count the lug nuts. 5 is bad, 6 is good. Linda S
  3. We need to see the wheel hub. Pic of the lug nuts to tell. Is there a projection in the center?. Linda S
  4. I do not like vinyl upholstery and dog and cat claws don't like it either. Heavy weight, tightly woven canvas or denim would be my choice. Doesn't attract hair and what does land can be easily brushed of. Sticky roller thing would clean it like crazy. Look down, are your jeans covered in fur? Bet not. Oh and put in zippers to remove and wash covers. So nice to get everything all fresh Linda S
  5. The Beck/Arnley ones clearly show they are for the W chassis. Those are the correct adjusters. If you want tp pay 3 times the price I can get you the Toyota part number. Toyota still makes all the parts for your brakes. Beck/Arnley also has the correct shoe listed on Rock Auto. I always buy that brand if I can. I never buy Centrix. Brake shoes for my Nissan dually were not made right and they wouldn't take them back. Right length and width but wrong arc. I worked for days before I could figure out why the drums wouldn't fit back on. Linda S
  6. No Ben didn't reweld it. His is all new frame but I bet the roof is aluminum too. Linda S
  7. Here's a picture of the overhead of an 87 Conquest stripped open. Sure looks like aluminum framing to me. http://toyotamotorhome.org/forums/index.php?/topic/5535-weekend-cabover-tearout-and-replace/&tab=comments#comment-37965 Linda S
  8. The frame was aluminum but Ben wasn't happy with it. He said there were a lot of bad welds so he rebuilt it from scratch. Some people are very particular. Hmm, I know of at least one other guy here just like that Linda S
  9. Well the later V6 models certainly did. Here's a brochure that says tubular aluminum framing. https://www.gulfstreamcoach.com/media/uploads/1/11066_1991-Conquest-Toyota-Micro.pdf Linda S
  10. One of our members works at Host Rv's in Bend Or. Wonder if he could buy some from the factory. Hope he's following this thread and chimes in Linda S
  11. You had a battery slide out tray? Darn I always wanted on but never got around to making it. This rubber seal is for garage door thresholds. Very thick. No white but they do make grey. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Garage-Door-Threshold-Kit-20-ft-Gray-Durable-Vinyl-Seal-Blocks-Draft-Dust-Water/401701683404?epid=2254492480&hash=item5d874940cc:g:8IQAAOSwPA1cWc0E:rk:19:pf:0 Another crazy idea. The early Chinooks used white hose, like we use for fresh water. Lots of them still in use with gaskets that have never been changed Linda S
  12. You just missed out on a cheaper one but ya gotta have what ya gotta have https://www.ebay.com/itm/Reflect-O-Lite-1400-Tail-lite-Lense/372594263335?hash=item56c0594527:g:v6cAAOSwHglcNiXQ:rk:6:pf:0 Linda S
  13. These will be a little too wide. You just drill a tiny hole the correct distance so they will fit. Very expensive though. https://www.pellandent.com/Weep-Hole-Cover-Hehr Karen who used to post here made some with tin snips and a soda can. Linda S Found her post. She glued them in place instead of trying to make tiny legs to fit into the holes You might be needing some new weep hole covers. Those are pretty easy to make using thin aluminum sheet from the hardware store or even the metal from a pop or beer can. The ones on my Sunrader measured out to be 3/4" wide. That means it is very easy to form them over the edge of a 3/4 inch wide board. Then just trim to match the profile of the edge of the window trim with a pair of shop scissors. If you are making a bunch of them just create a paper patern. I glued the new weep hole cover in place with the rubber fortified brand of super glue gel from Gorilla Glue. It helps the job go faster if you have some super glue accelerator on hand. I made them 3 years ago and they are still holding in there nice and strong. The original weep hole covers on my Sunrader were made from Styrene plastic which does not hold up well to UV light. This summer I will get around to replacing the rest of them as the other that are still original are very brittle and coming apart now. They won't hold up for another RV bath day.
  14. Most of the coach section looks pretty sound. In bad ones you can see noticeable droop in overhead bed section and way more damage than this. Don't just start ripping it apart. Take it slow and take pictures. It's a learning process and I've seen many go too far and then loose interest. Think home remodeling. You don't tear your house down to remodel it. Linda S
  15. I don't get it. An 87 cab and chassis with reverse wheels in the front doesn't have the same brakes as a regular pickup front or back. Linda S
  16. Can't find anything exactly the same but it is called a door holder. You might have to replace the plunger too. Here is a similar options https://www.ebay.com/itm/RV-trailer-PLUNGER-ENTRY-DOOR-HOLDER-catch-METAL-3-1-8/370847694391?hash=item56583ebe37:g:yMEAAOxyaTxRSMUT:sc:USPSFirstClass!95503!US!-1:rk:6:pf:0 Or you could switch to the latch type https://www.ebay.com/itm/RV-Designer-E218-6-Zinc-T-Style-Entry-Door-Holder/333036275875?epid=1622713380&hash=item4d8a8248a3&enc=AQADAAAC4FjVrDbVsZ8oH%2F8PNHtt9VX4%2Fw7FZcmMuqsX8uaFEduV460a5txafSm4GNExy%2BCGaT9ARBeM56Xaj3ilvyybQfc3US4WppxSOx7RWnXgMI8ZAen%2BCe%2Bri%2FUVgIdTxgLObHw3nxRa76IgizBDDdP%2FaIiOo4CkDjRD%2FZXbG7ri5hEe0Y6Uc0Re7L4eVIxHpZg3OHn9pB7WxToTgvvkILhvEJTiYJfCKR8BY4ZPcaibVRcVXbuOPzm2WWQab15FaC49zLtTNEC8N862RLaXlAj2ubWrOJdRXR9r4oiOL9SWPxG61zyRouNZW04oSiRDkN4%2FY1ilDF9AKqEhOw1%2B3lnujThj03lZ4Kw4144Aw9%2BfM2u1ZdRvvOpNwnoM7uREjoUx2%2FyCEUH6K9Yy0uoGO%2Fbso1ppil2XwN5Ds0MJpwGxY08GJSdIjwCOm37bhfP13fXekGdVlH2fqJ9kj%2F2jIlAZz6951toi%2FTSzQ%2Bz9Irmd6Kn52r%2BvcDYWnmA3hUymOpNDONo1OG4Lkp8p5Xdwz5ol31P4DN1Xy7vrcRyXc%2FTw62LCznQjZnJa1Skaa27TG6K5tcWK9ONaf2D%2FuzC6fcyRhVBAeLtpbrD60v7jsOt2lwgqKvJ%2F%2F7sV1Cw6lARoCFGTUOUdCnscENOnWKkL1p%2BJ3cYfdQPm6WuvEq2oG9jdGRw%2FEBD2cjnknYlocSRs3bwu1Kfctl1HG71%2BPz6eY%2FrZWkaHtnEyE1S27UxHAJ3J8NBHhNCWd%2BC9UqtXQ2O1qW6vXsoo%2BnnpEBcVGNwlbJvpkwbeu8nachOS9vJp72z4mlv5IwIP%2FhLX2EEyF8Bj%2FMBmtNihcFTHo6QGwRbrpmTw2GuCqfLDsjJ4n09yWAFCcyifjlN%2Bal9ITy6ciQ2%2BRBm4m0YWGPQjOEjy0Ouc6NqX759hcBs5gkDTHzfRwpvN6WSLgMh4Ebj0rG6XMc0W4bkeBTbZaMAK%2FnbAnTFfXh1dBv0%3D&checksum=3330362758759410b1204af3412b95a73509dac6d795 Man that's a long link. Still eBay though Linda S
  17. I've driven my Sunrader a few times in light snow. It handled pretty well. Same rules as anything your driving but more so. No sudden moves, give cars in front of you lots of room so you can stop in time if they hit the brakes. Pump brakes and controlled use of emergency brake can help you stay straight on the road if you start to swerve. The biggy, slow. Don't even try to stay up with traffic. Linda S
  18. Garage door seal is used to give a nice clean finish to the cab to coach transition. I have never seen it used as a main seal. It is fairly thick though and I imagine it could be made to work. I would trim off the thinner sections but screws should go into the thickest part. Linda S
  19. Wow Derek what a neat find. I searched too and got nothing. You find the best stuff for us Linda S

  21. Yup I missed that. Fastlane tires are a good seller. Got my tires from them off of ebay. Shipped crazy fast Linda S
  22. If you can't figure out anything they do make pre shaped fuel filler hoses after market. This one fits your truck https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fuel-Filler-Hose-Spectra-FNH132-fits-89-95-Toyota-Pickup-2-4L-L4/112886983915?fits=Year%3A1994|Model%3APickup|Make%3AToyota&epid=229919332&hash=item1a4896aceb:g:yhgAAOSwi2tbnbV2:rk:2:pf:0 Linda S
  23. Well we don't usually sand Sunraders we polish them with Barkeepers friend and then Zep wax them. If the paint is too glossy though all you need to do is use your fine wet sand paper but use it dry and go over the painted area with a light touch. Weathering paint is easy. Perfect glossy finishes are hard. Linda S
  24. Super price but anyone who wants them better jump on it. They are being sold direct from Hankook. Most manufacturers don't cut out their distributers unless it's a closeout. Hope I'm wrong but just thought I'd get that out there Linda S
