  2. easy enough to change out so why not
  3. you can't lube it. replace it. if you hold the squirrel cage and rap the stud with a hammer, it will separate

  6. referring to the rubber locking bead that holds the window against the frame
  7. do not use silicon to seal it. it will leak. just dealt with it myself. i don't remember where to get the outer gap filler bead, but someone here will chime in you need to use butyl rubber sealant. same as used to install windshields
  8. if there are 2 wires, the colored one is pos. connect it to b+ the other to ground. if motor turns you need to look elsewhere. the broken pin connection is a blower speed resistor pack. remove it and check if it is indeed broken
  9. if you pop that seal out i bet you find it doesn't have a gator spring in it. don't know about the rubber part
  10. i'm a fixer, so would definitely repair the old one cause i'm also cheap. either way you have to remove the old one. not that hard- remove fridge door, disconnect lines and wires, remove mounting screws, remove passenger seat, take it out passenger door
  11. i think it's toast. mine had leaked in the foam and never smelled. i think there are pictures here somewhere
  12. yes they are 2 different heaters. one pair goes to 12v, the other to 120v. the top picture is cut off, but should show where they go
  13. if you have a12v heater also, there will be four wires coming from the stack. 2 for each heater
  14. either of the 120v ones you listed will work. doubt that yours works just a little. usually go no go
  15. check resistance at 2 wire coolant sensor near thermostat. @180 290-300 ohms also at air temp sender in air filter housing 2 wire @ 80 1k ohm
  16. i bet any wrecking yard will have a toyota pu you can get the drive shaft from. swap out the yoke
  17. if you have cruise control the brake lights will be part of it's circuit. otherwise no
  18. yes they will blink really fast if you don't change the flasher to one for leds
  19. could you use going through clear lake to 101? not too bad as far as grades
  20. how long have you had it turned on. might take a day to get going
  21. even on 101 questa grade in slo will be 2nd gear and over 100 degrees this time of year
  22. better check your map. 5 is a ways from santa cruz, also doesn't go to humbolt. you can take 41 at paso robles to kettlman city then up 5. still will have to go back to 1 or 101 to get to humbolt
