fred heath
I’m almost afraid to ask. What happened with your overheating issue? https://toyotaminis.com/forum/ This forum Is exclusive to Toyota truck owners. It might be a good source for engines and shops in your area who can do the work. Edited January 5, 2020 by fred heath

Derek up North
Check the fine print of any warranty. I believe some exclude motorhome use.

fred heath
Sounds like you’re ok on the head gasket. You could have had a heater core fail. loop the two heater hoses together, bleed any air out of the block and see how she runs. Good luck. If so, there is a hidden warranty on Toyota engines, and this is usually associated with a gasket failure. There are some conditions, which can be determined by contacting an authourized dealer and see if you engine qualifies. I have had two engines rebuilt because of this warranty and there was never an issue about the repair. I know of no such 'hidden warranty'. Please provide any details you might have. If you're referring to the Special Service Campaign for the 3.0 3VZE, it's not 'hidden'.
