jjrbus
93 Toyota V6, Should the tensioner/idler pulley for the Ac compressor move without loosening the nut on the pulley? Not sure if mine is stuck or that is the way it should be ?? Jim
Ctgriffi
Should be a bolt through the pulley and a bolt on the adjuster, which is behind the pulley. If they're both snug, nothing should be moving. (These tend to rust and break easily when old, so shoot em with some PB Blaster before you start wrenching.)
jjrbus
Thanks for the response. Does the bolt through the pulley have to be loose in order to use the adjuster?? Jim SW FL

DanAatTheCape
loosen the thru nut as Ctgriffi says, then the bolt that you can reach from the bottom will turn
