donttreadonme
Has anyone replaced the rear window in a Warrior with one that opens? We would like to get better air flow through the camper. Maybe when we are on the road also?
Bob C
I would question the idea of having the rear window open while moving. I have been in station wagons with the rear window open and the exhaust gets sucked into the open window. I don't know if that would happen on an RV because I believe that most of the exhaust systems exit the side of the vehicle. I do know that the rear of my RV is always the dirtiest part of the RV and I would not want any of that dirt inside.
DanAatTheCape
I recommend you spend your efforts on exhaust fans. That rear window is an emergency egress.
donttreadonme
I plan on installing a fantastic fan, but...I am looking for a window that is an EXIT window and that is operable. I found a website that custom makes ones that tilt out at the bottom and are exit capable. http://www.all-rite.com/allrite-picture-exit-window-with-screen-p-954.html We are also looking at the magnetic screens that can go over the front windows also. http://theskeeterbeater.com/product/rocky-mountain/#sthash.X22jy23N.dpbs I just want to get the best breeze through the Winnie that I can. I do not plan on having the back window open as we are going down the road. I would be afraid of sucking exhaust back into the camper. JR67
I removed my original cracked glass window and replaced it with a piece of plexiglass. I made it removable with a few screws so I can slide surfboards throught the opening. I have driven a few miles without the window like that and it was ok for exhaust fumes, but results might vary.... I will eventually put some hinges on the top once I can decide on what kind of latches to use for the bottom. I have used black foam adhesive strips to seal the window but it is not easy to make the window completely waterproof at the top since rain water tends to follow the top of the window frame and then run inside the window.... So I will have to make a little aluminum strip of maybe 1 or 2" above the full length of the window as an 'awning'.

Lots of opening exit windows on eBay too. What size is your window. Linda S
