You defiantly want a lift. Any qualified garage could do the work. Remember this is mechanically a Toyota 1/2 pickup.

New clutch setup material cost $100-150.

Yeah it's not a bad job you'll probably want to resurface the flywheel while it's apart check the pilot bearing they seldom good bad but it is a good ideal to check it while it's apart just see if it turns smoothly. Toyota has fairly good prices on the assemblies I would use them if you can afford new ones they used to sell high quality Toyota remans too.

Yes, what exactly is your question? What a shop will charge? How to do it yourself? Etc.



Toyotas, especially the older ones with 20R and 22R motors, are pretty straightforward. It will need to be up in the air, though. A 4x4 you could without jacks, but not these little 2wd trucks.
