The new guy, 1986 NewHorizon floor?????

Just getting a Toyota 21' Always liked the Idea.

Now the fun begins. The previous owner pulled all of the carpet. He said it was a shag and he did not like it. He also stated that there were a lot of staples that he pulled. Now there is just a fiberglass floor. I wonder if there was some kind of panel over it for carpet and staples? Also it does pop and creek if I walk on it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'd recommend putting down a 1/4" sub-floor and some Allure flooring from the big orange store. We put ours in in a weekend - easy to install, easy to clean.

Thanks for the help. I thought that it should have some kind of sub floor. 1/4" ply should work well. Also it is so small I was thinking an upper end laminate floor. Easy to clean.

Keep weight in mind. Allure is a very thin laminated floor. The upper end (Pergo?) is much heavier and thicker. Less floor weight gives you more cargo weight. In toys, every # counts.

^ ditto. For me, it was thickness related for me too. every inch (or 1/4 in.) of height counts in a Sunrader when you're 6ft.
