I would like to say thanks for all the reply's. I did track the wires, they went behind the converter and out to the water heater. Apparently it was installed as a new way to start the water heater. I would get some spark when it was turned on, but no gas As with all things not being used for a long time, and carful consideration, I gave the gas unit a couple small taps with a hammer. I know, gas and hammer! But it started working and it cycles through just fine.

Thanks for all of the help. As I stated it is a 1986 New Horizon. I have found nothing that goes on or off with this switch. I guess that I will need to uncover and track the wires. I will keep you posted.

I have a 1986 New Horizon. On the wall above the sink, is a panel of switches. These tell how much is in the tanks, as well as the one that turns on the water pump. Just above this panel, is a rocker switch with a light, that I have no idea what the purpose is. The wires go from it down to the converter box. Does anybody know what this might be for? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the help. I thought that it should have some kind of sub floor. 1/4" ply should work well. Also it is so small I was thinking an upper end laminate floor. Easy to clean.

Just getting a Toyota 21' Always liked the Idea. Now the fun begins. The previous owner pulled all of the carpet. He said it was a shag and he did not like it. He also stated that there were a lot of staples that he pulled. Now there is just a fiberglass floor. I wonder if there was some kind of panel over it for carpet and staples? Also it does pop and creek if I walk on it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. DJ
