I have a Weber on my 1983 toyota sr5 pickup and it was a great investment. 32/36e is what i bought. do it you will not regret it. its dead simple to install if you want to save some money. as far as performance i am not sure. its hard to compare a 30 year old carb in unknown condition to a brand new one on a level playing field. one things for sure a new clean carb, no matter the type is going to work better then an old dirty one.

good luck

Lance
