That engine was also used on big vehicles like dump trucks and has lots of torque for off roading. Sweet restoration. This is a 4x4 upgrade but there was also another vehicle in the same timeline called a Creiger. Same size and platform and 4x4 from the factory. Plus an all fiberglass body.
