Mackcm
Hi all- we are working to reconfigure our 1990 Itasca spirit interior. I believe the original owner did some custom work himself, because instead of the bench seats we have a couch. I don’t have a fantastic pic of it, but have attached some here. We are looking to convert back to a dinette kind of set up, and probably need to move the water pump (to the right of the water tank) in order to move the water tank out of what will be the footwell. Can you mount the water pump horizontally? Does anyone have some configuration that worked for them? We are likely also converting our electrical to new/solar gear, but will tackle that later. Ctgriffi
My 91 has the tank and pump mounted on the floor inside the dinette bench closest to the cab. Might work for you, although you’d need a different cutout for fresh water fill, probably. There is also a small covered area along the wall that takes wires/water-lines to the rear, in the vicinity of where your tank is now. Looks like a good project. Keep it up!
