Snowbanks
What do you tell NAPA when shopping for (rear) brake shoes and wheel cylinders? They notoriously present the wrong parts, even when it's a simple. obvious piece. I have a day to get this done before a necessary trip to a flight, and want to mitigate back-and-forth foolery with NAPA as much as possible. WME
Start here, NAPA should be able to cross part numbers. If not then maybe the photos should help some. https://toyotamotorhome.org/forums/index.php?/topic/11249-toyota-part-numbers-for-brakes-axles-suspension-etc/&_fromLogin=
linda s
I can't find any parts at Napa online that fit our duallies. Any other parts stores near you? Linda S
Snowbanks
Thanks WME and Linda S for your quick replies. The stuff at NAPA seems to check out (online). They have a "sub-model" category of 1-ton that I can select after selecting 1986 toyota pickup. Specs are correct but it was dubious whether I'd get them in time. Looked at the guide that WME posted, and found that O'Reilly had the same parts, and in-stock. An hour round-trip instead of 30 minutes to the nearby NAPA, but getting assurance from a fellow Toy-RV'er who's experienced this over the hullaballoo at NAPA makes me feel it's a sound decision.
