Every so often people discuss hauling things on the back of their toyota motorhomes including motorcycles. After purchasing my motorhome I sought information about this as well. I came across this blog: http://daysofexploration.blogspot.com/2014/04/toyota-motorcycle-hauling-enhance.html

I believe the gentleman is a member here or was at any rate.

I followed some of the ideas from the blog and also created a way to haul my motorcycle, generator, or whatever else. I did reinforce my frame and install air bags to accommodate the extra load. I have successfully hauled my motorcycle on a number of occasions with no ill effect to handling.

Has anyone else tried this? Any stories?

That's my write up you posted! It was super sturdy and I drove about 11,000 miles on that setup with my 290 pound bike on the back with no issues.
