Homer
I was wondering if you screw the end of the extend-a-stay into the fitting under the yellow FILL cap. or do you have to take the lines loose and add the kit and hook back up in order to use an extra 20 lb when you run out of propane? I have never seen one in action and no one around here knows anything about one.
WME
The extenda stay goes between the shut off valve and the regulator. The adda tank feeds high pressure propane to the system.
Derek up North
Someone (I don't recall who) did not physically have room to install an Extend-a-Stay between the tank and regulator. http://www.rv-project.com/projects/extendstay.php
Homer
Thank You Derek and WME. I got my answer and I was completely wrong. Thanks for both of your HELP !
neubie
extend a stay on a slightly newer tank -- after the tank shut off, before the regulator.
86Dolphino
learned something new. that's pretty cool wouldn't mind one for my little grill. It takes those dang 1lb tanks. it would be nice to just plug it in and use it. one less thing to get.
