Hello everyone, Ive recently purchased a 78’ Sunrader knowing nothing about them really. I’ve only owned Toyota’s so I’m familiar with the truck. My plans include: 4x4 conversion, motor swap, pull the camper and deal with any rust before I start the interior remodel. I have gutted it due to a leaky roof and water damage which will need some attention. I’ve done some research now and have seen quite a few different models. The short short ones like mine that I’ve seen all have the door in the far back with the flip up panel. And I believe they don’t have a shower.. Does anyone have

I have an ‘88 sunrader on a ‘07 tundra cab and chassis, with the original camper door lock... I have “fixed” it a few times but I think it has finally kicked the bucket and the camper doesn’t tend to stay locked easily... I want to upgrade the door lock system and wondered if anyone has had any luck with these things : https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/maintenance-hardware/rv-locks-handles-storage-hardware/door-knobs-locks/door-locks/lock-rv-motor-home-entrance_31-8078 looks to be the same shape as the hole, would obviously need to cut a hole in the fibreglass for the

We are reburbishing our 1986 toyota dolphin mini camper and working currently on the front end. We need to replace the steering damper and are having a hard time finding the proper replacement. The one we believe we need for the specific model we have has a greasable ball joint knuckle. All the others available and much more reddily available have a pin at the same point of contention. What our question is is does anyone know if the pin is actually preferable to the knuckle since the knuckle seems so seldom used and is the damper with the pin able to be used in place of the one with the kn

I’m wondering if it is okay to drive with my potable water tank full? My airbags above the tires that are supposed to lift the cab up when it’s fully loaded, do not hold air. I just filled up my potable water tanks and I’m wondering if it’s safe for me to drive for a few hours up north. Or are you supposed to find a potable spigot when you get there? Thoughts?

When I purchased my 1987 Toyota Escaper made by Damon industries I found it had most of the original documentation. I was contacted via my blog (link in my signature) from someone asking if I could provide the manual since they are quite hard to find. I was surprised I haven't thought of this sooner since I am sure there are plenty of people that would love to see the factory documentation that came with the Toyota Escaper Micro mini motor home. I have scanned the entire manual and compressed it into a zip but it seems the forum will not allow my to upload a zip. Here is a short front and

My first draft for two ladies driving my lil Rig down south. Anything I am missing other than spell checker? -------------------warning---- long post---- with typos and wretched grammar= Driving the Toyota RV to Phoenix 2019 Routes This is the road that I would take: I would take either through Detroit or Port Huron or cross at Ogdensburg and go south of Lake Ontario , both routes would kinda lead you to Toledo or back roads parallel to the lakes. You could always stay at Mry and Bills if yo go via Detroit/Port Huron route. or something and I would go down through

1999 Toyota Camroad Champ model- electrical help required!
4x4camroaduk posted a topic in Electrical
Hi everyone, I am new to this- very excited to join the community, and start exploring the UK and Europe in my new to me Toyota Camroad. As I expected may happen, I am having some issues with the electrics- the main issues currently are being unable to find any kind of fuse/breaker box for the habitation area (I have explored any and every obvious place It could be) I assume it must be somewhere? As well as the issue of it being 100v ac (Japanese voltage)- which I of course knew about prior to purchase, yet the mains hook up is a standard 240v blue EU spec connector. For now I plan t -

Odyssey - 1990 Toyota - WALL CLOCK - For Sale
IIIJohn2 posted a topic in Miscellaneous & Non-related
I have a vintage 1990 Toyota Odyssey - WALL CLOCK - for sale removed carefully from the wall of the cabin. It's pretty nice-look at the photos. It is about 6" diameter, gold in color, and It takes a single AA battery. Anyone who is interested in restoring their Odyssey with a quite nice vintage 'Gold' color clock from an original Odyssey cabin may be interested. I think I can take any reasonable offer to make you a good deal. PS Because the rig has proven to need so much work to do on it-then I anticipated, I'm modying into a weekender rather than to restore it to its beutiful orig
