  1. This board has tons of answers and congratulations on your purchase I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine (83 dolphin)
  2. Here are some pics (I hope) of what I am looking at.
  3. Ok that makes sense, I guess plugging them with speakers is a bad idea then lol, just trying to find a place to install cab speakers, the only ones we have are over the bed and can't be heard very well while driving.
  4. I have the mid size buddy heater, it has a low o2 cut off but I've never had a problem. on low it heats the whole motor home 1 small tank for 8 hours. A couple times I've had a condensation issue but I bought one of those de-humidifier jars from camping world for 10 and it works awesome.
  5. Trying to figure out what these are. I thought maybe it's a place for a speaker but am worked about putting a speaker there in case it's some type of vent. Does anyone know?
  6. I bought a Mr. Buddy heater to use in my motor home it works great and has a low oxygen shut off. On a small propane tank it runs 8 hours. It was only $50 at camping work. Defiantly thankful having it on the cold boon docking nights.
  7. I use AAA I only pay $350 a year and have an agree'd value of $10k, 100k/300k coverage on my 83 dolphin with towing rental car and trip interruption services. I suggest agree'd value then it doesn't matter what comps are and it was only around $10 more per year then regular full coverage.
  8. I just replaced the light bulbs on mine with warm white bulbs I foudn on ebay. They were about $4 after shipping and just snapped into the existing fixtures. I've tried the regular white ones they work but are very glary.

a minor rear end accident which broke my generator may total my motorhome due to NADA the joke book!!1

  13. If you're gong to replace it I'd suggest you replace it with one that has a flusher on it, it's a hydro flush valve which leans your tank out and helps prevent build up. It's like $10 more but it'll keep your tank cleaner and make for a better emptying experience, it's $45 at camping world they call it the flush king.
  14. A lot of them like mine have no compartment for the second battery it goes under the hood next to or opposite the truck battery.

  15. 1. Some models have no rear seat belts at all, others only have some, you can add some by bolting them through the floor but it's hard. 2. the car seat goes in the dinette or front seat only!, it's safest to have the car sear rear facing, some car seats are front facing, never mount a car seat sideways it will not be safe for the child. Also if it has airbags the front seat is out too. 3. The amount of windows I've never had a problem with them complaining but I also have a fan going for the people in the back and I don't drive across deserts during the day. 4. You "can" run the generator and ac while driving but remember it's not meant to be run while not leveled and can damage the unit. Also remember in most states due to smog regulations it's not legal to run a generator while driving either. Hope that helps.
  16. What types of fuel work best in your toy home? Also do you change octane depending on the terrain you're going through.

  19. La Casa is a nice motorhome from what I've seen, I was going to buy one in Bakesfield for 4200 but found a cheaper one. It's actually built by Ranger Motor homes, La Casa is just the modee.
