There should be a large main power supply in the fuse panel area. You should be able to follow that to where the battery should be located. The battery may be missing however the wire and terminals should still be there.

Looked in both locations and can not find it

I have a 85 escaper and my coach battery is under the couch.

A lot of them like mine have no compartment for the second battery it goes under the hood next to or opposite the truck battery.
